Check in and out was incredibly slow. Plenty of staff around but seemingly only one capable of doing anything.
Noise from the bathroom like a water tank refilling/macerater turning over every few minutes kept me awake all night.
Phones have been removed from rooms under the pretext of sustainability. So had to get someone to knock on my door for a wake up call - they were at least 15 minutes late.

Room was lovely spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, only thing that spoiled it was the view. Great location, didnt get to use bar or restuarant but they looked lovely . Staff very helpful and professional

What a wonderful stay! The castle itself has lots of charm and history. The staff were helpful and kind and the food was excellent! A bit of a hike into the town so you will probably need a car or taxi from the main train station but cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed ourselves.
