Nice rooms with room for 3/4 fairly comfortably but a bit old fashioned. Nice bathroom with powerful shower. Ideal stay for families, though couples without children may find the brasserie areas rather noisy and chaotic. Menu also limited and geared to families. Excellent breakfast! Most staff are very friendly and helpful, though problems at check in due to staff mistakes. Advertised as Free Paking, but apparently only if booked directly with the hotel. Often no staff at the bar and so long wait.

Had 3 days at the Empire last week. Room was lovely, bathroom could do with a shelf to put toiletries on. Food was good, only had 1 evening meal here. In a good position to get to everywhere.

Really enjoyed our weekend celebrating a friend’s 30th birthday. Food was excellent.

I was disappointed in the WiFi; it was terrible. The ice was not available to keep our drinks cold. The Breakfast was the same every day, not very appetizing, and lacked fresh fruit, such as berries. Rooms were clean, not enough hangers and no top sheets on the beds, asked for extra pillows.
