Wonderful place to stay

Perfect weekend getaway

The host was amazing and answered all my questions. The house was right up the road from the boat ramp. We went for just a guys weekend and caught some fish, cooked everything at the house, and had a good time relaxing.

Great place beutiful area

Had a blast fishing and exploring with my dad and daughter for the week. Great fishing and kevin and neighbors were great with putting us on some fish. The accommodations were clean comfortable well set up. Would love to stay again.

Great little get away, newly stocked kitchen and lots of little extras to make your stay pleasant. Short walk to the landing and close to town for activities or lunch if you don't want to grill or cook.

Fishing trip

The stay was great caught lots of blue cat with a short boat ride from the ramp, property was perfect for a small group, fish cleaning station helped a bunch, comfortable beds and very clean will be rebooking for the next trip down.

Nice place

It is the best for the price. Beds are nice and comfortable. The had alot of thought in setting up the place. Enjoyed it very much. We are going to book it a couple of times next year.

Very nice, rustic unit with great appliances

We had a great stay in the basement cabin. The appliances, grill and propane fire pit were better than expected. Beth and Kevin were there to help, but did not intrude in any way.

Warsaw, MO weekend trip

Pretty nice place. Disappointed in not having a dock close to fish from. This cabin is very rustic, if you dont care for true rustic, likely not a place for you!! Our dog seemed to enjoy it, liked the cool concrete floors!! It was set up very nicely in the kitchen and bathroom. Amenities were good.

Great stay, especially if you're there fishing

Kevin and Beth are very accommodating. Kevin was there the whole visit with his friend Norman, who I enjoyed hanging with in the evenings. I'm not big into fishing but I was offered to go with them a few times and they even offered to have dinner with them...I regretted not doing either but my time there ended sooner then I thought it would have been, due to work. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks Kevin and Beth!

Almost Your Personal Boat Dock!

The boat dock is 2 minutes from the front door and off-street boat parking increased security for our equipment. The outdoor cooking/eating area was a nice feature. The rooms were clean and spacious. The laundry area was a plus for our group of outdoorsmen. The kitchen was NEW and well equipped. Actually, this would suit us for a long-term rental so we could fish daily and keep our equipment secure. What we spend on travel to this location could cover rental!

Exceptional

This was the most beautiful experience we ever had. The place makes you feel like home very warm and cozy. The home provided a good and quiet nature. You can wake up and feel the breeze here the bird singing in the morning while you enjoy the outdoors. The owner provided everything we need from the kitchen to the bathroom and the extra blanket in the room. Minutes walk from the boat ram and not far from the dam. It feels good to see your family enjoying it. I couldn’t stop looking at my husband and see how much he was enjoying it. We will definitely have to do that again. ☺️☺️☺️

Awesome!

5 stars all around! Three of us stayed here for 5 nights on a fishing trip and it was perfect. The place was clean, well supplied, and a great location with a boat ramp about 1/4 mile down the road. There was even a fish cleaning shack in the backyard. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the place was very nice and clean. The hosts were very responsive and helpful if we had questions. If you're headed to Truman Lake I would highly recommend a stay. We are already planning our stay next spring.

Perfect get away!

The place was PERFECT! The cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed. The basement was very creatively done and had personal touches that was a treat. I highly recommend to couples or families. They thought of everything, down to boat parking.

Excited to stay again.

This was like staying with close friends. Comfortable, clean and cozy place. Owners stayed upstairs but was never a distraction. Super friendly hosts who wanted to ensure our needs were met. They accommodated our boat parking too. Would certainly recommend this place and we plan to return.
