"Incredible staff that helped with any questions we had, great service. Unbelievable full breakfast every day. Super clean all over, quiet rooms. Just a great hotel. Great location to the harbor l, shopping, and restaurants. My only complaint, the new pillows they provided were to fat. So hopefully Embassy will bring in thinner pillows."

"The staff were all very friendly. Our bed was clean and very comfortable. Even though our room was beside the elevator it wasn’t bothersome at all and we found it quiet. The pool and hot tub are VERY dated but it was nice to have the amenities there and the water was clean in both. The fitness centre is small but has everything you would need while on the road. The Denny’s restaurant attached was EXTREMELY UNDERSTAFFED and the food was just OK. We recommend walking one block up to Spoons Diner for breakfast. We found this hotel to be a good value for the location."

"We had a great experience staying at the Empress! The location is unrivalled and gives great access to Victoria. We were blessed with an amazing sunset and had the privilege of sitting in the window of the bar sipping cocktails watching it. Great place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back."
