I searched places to stay that had spa area the entire area was shut down and couldn’t be used would have been nice to know that before booking or at least prior to my stay

Conveniently situated on a peaceful road with easy access to the freeway. At walkable distance to cafes and restaurants. This tranquil place has wide-open parking on two sides and a stream right behind the property, with water flowing down from the hills. The rooms are clean, and the front desk personnel are friendly. I enjoyed my continental breakfast on the patio table while watching the sunrise over the green hills. It was a wonderful experience!

We recently stayed at Inn at Truckee and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort it offered. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the basic amenities I needed, including free Wi-Fi and a comfortable bed. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. Despite being close to the highway, the room was quiet, ensuring a restful night's sleep. It offers complimentary breakfast, which was a great start to my day. There is ample parking available, which made it easy to come and go as I pleased. Overall, provides excellent value for money, combining comfort, convenience, and friendly service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable place to stay.

Old motel! Too expensive for a dumpy “MOTEL 6” type motel….. you get what you pay for but $276.00 for this was ridiculous! Guess it’s all about location….. Front desk staff was Super! Dog friendly a PLUS!

We liked the convenient location, and the staff was friendly. Pretty good continental breakfast. Good restaurants within walking distance, or a short drive away. Our room didn’t have a working bathroom fan or hair dryer. Our room was dusty, and the inside of the hotel is very outdated and shabby. There was a back entrance that was not secure, which made me nervous having my 3 kids there. There was a potentially beautiful area in the back with the Truckee River close by. However, the area is dirty and covered with litter.

Room was a bit worn down with age. Loose shower knobs, for instance. The power cut off when we ran the microwave and TV at the same time. But everything was clean and the staff was nice.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Nearby restaurants available. It is called an "Inn", which combined with the online photos made it seem a more elegant property than it actually is. three floors without an elevator, bathroom with a tub but no closet in the room. It should be considered more of a discount motel than an Inn, but we couldn't learn that until after we made the reservation and arrived. Just my opinion.

Shows indoor Jacuzzi, which is why I booked here, but they said it's closed and gave me no reason why. I got stuck in the snow and chose this property because of the indoor Jacuzzi. It's not till after check in they told me and they had no signs posted. Very upset.
