Welcome to Bachman Village #14, an AvantStay home!

Nestled in the quiet west end neighborhood of Bachman Village, this four-bedroom, four-bath home is two blocks from the slopes, four blocks from the heart of town, and steps from the local grocery store.

Fine touches of marble, elegant beds and comfortably large rooms contribute to the overall appeal of this home. Enter the house through a long hallway that accesses the first two bedrooms and back entry. In the back, you'll find the washer/dryer. Just beyond that is the private hot tub that sits in the backyard. The first bedroom on this level has a flatscreen TV, a king bed, and an attached bath with jetted tub and shower combo. The second bedroom has a queen bed, flatscreen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

Upstairs on the second level of the home, the kitchen welcomes you with natural pine floors, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. The kitchen is open to the dining room and living room, making it a great space for the family or friends to hang out. The kitchen has a breakfast bar that seats three, while the dining area seats six. The living room has leather furniture, a gas fireplace, a TV with Roku, a DVD player, and a stereo. There is also a small deck with a table and chairs off the dining area that affords a partial mountain view. Vaulted ceilings and big sunny windows create an open, airy feel.

The third bedroom is on this level, behind the kitchen; it has a king bed, private balcony, flatscreen TV, and an attached bathroom with a jetted tub/shower combo. A second door allows hallway access to the bathroom, as well.

Opposite the kitchen, there is another set of stairs leading up to a common area with a queen sleeper sofa lofted above the living room. The fourth bedroom is on this third level; it has two twin beds with a trundle bed under each, and wall-mounted flatscreen TV. There is also an attached bathroom on this level with a shower/tub.

The base of Lift #7 is two blocks away. The free in-town shuttle Galloping Goose runs past the end of the street. Adjacent to the neighborhood is a grocery store. And across the main street is the High School/Middle School where you'll find the Palm Theater.

- Please note; As a ski town, many construction projects happen around town all summer. Working hours are 8 am-7 pm.

Bachman Village #14 has a large picket-fenced yard and off-street parking for two cars in the summer and one in the winter.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Notwithstanding that we had booked Bachman Village 14 and made the required deposit, the owner appears to have decided to use the property during the week we had booked. Consequently, we were contacted by the local property management company and required to stay at a substitute property. So much for Vrbo's representations and contractual responsibilities.

Telluride trip
We had a large group of college friends getting back together for the first time in awhile. The house was perfectly sized and perfectly situated in the town with walking distance to lift 7. If you are coming to stay for more than a few nights I would suggest bringing extra TP, paper towels, towels, and sheets (house had bare minimum of these things). In pictures there is a grill on the deck but there is a sign in the house that says grill is not for use. Other than that it was a great trip and the house worked out well.

This was the perfect size and location. . At the edge of town, in walking distance to main drag/gandala, but close to round about out if town and quiet. Not directly in town so expect to get exercise. Close to a grocery store too! No a/c but good air flow with windows open. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, and bathing supplies made traveling light easy and able to make our own meals. Parking for two was perfect with 8 guests. Tv options were amazing too, especially for sleepless nights. You can hear a lot of noises from within from level to level. Beds aren't the most comfortable and pillows are great either, but there was extra bedding. It was dry but they had many humidifiers in the closets. Great views.

The house was great but the hot tub is broken and they only told me one day prior to showing up and there were no other houses available. Outside of that it is a great home with great access to downtown and shuttles, and across from the supermarket.

Great house to base your Telluride area explorations
Telluride is a wonderful place to have fun at the outdoors, and having a good place to come back everyday or just to rest some of them, is of course very important. This house was perfect for our intentions, being very close to the downtown area but at the same time in a quiet place. The house has everything you could need, is comfortable and was very clean. In previous rentals with Home Away we almost always had a very direct relation with the owners of the houses, and this time we missed a little this, as all was run through a kind of bigger and more impersonal office. However at the end everything resulted very well, and we felt well attended by the staff. We had a wonderful time at Telluride, and staying at a nice and convenient house was an important plus. Thanks a lot!
