"Had an ocean view room which had a great view and was quite close to the water. We wanted a room with two beds but had to settle for a queen bed and a cot. We didn’t have all inclusive plan but paid for drinks and enjoyed the pizza made at resort. Walking to nearby restaurants was a little nervous as there isn’t much of a shoulder on the road. Pool was warm and clean. We were there for a week and saw a band play twice there. Awesome!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Riu Montego Bay. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. The food was fresh, plentiful, and offered a good variety, which we really appreciated. The beach and water were also very clean and beautiful, making it easy to enjoy our time by the ocean. The only downside during our stay was the beach vendors. They were very persistent and often continued approaching us even after we politely said no several times. At times, vendors came directly to our beach umbrella multiple times, which interrupted the relaxing experience. I’m not sure whether this is permitted by the hotel, but it was the only part of the trip that felt uncomfortable. Overall, we had a great vacation and would still recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, friendly staff, good food, and beautiful beach."
