We were very pleased with the Courtyard by Marriott South, chosen because of its proximity to highways from the west and to Drumheller (Royal Tyrell Museum) and south to Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump. Our room was comfortable with a wonderful king-sized bed. The bathroom offered everything needed for a three-night stay. The hotel was also very quiet. Breakfast was great. Bed comfortable. Very clean. But why do hotels have bathtubs? Who takes a bath in a hotel room. I try to find hotels that have walk-in showers.

I am from Calgary and I stayed at this hotel because of an event downtown. Very easy to get to and it’s not in the heart of the hustle and bustle but still walking distance to transit. It’s very clean and the art deco vibe was so cute. Plus the added safety feature with using your keycard to get into the hotel late at night was comforting. Definitely will recommend this hotel to those staying in the city!
