It was clean and tidy, the kitchen is new and well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and the views over the mountains are beautiful. The beds are comfortable. "De passage, nous avons dormi à la bonne école. La nuit fut excellente dans un joli cocon très bien aménagé et décoré. La maîtresse des lieux nous a tenu compagnie pendant le petit déjeuner (avec d’excellentes confitures maison) et les échanges furent fort sympathiques. Nous étions les seuls et étions donc au calme parfait avec une très jolie vue sur la montagne !! Il y avait même un jacuzzi mais il était malheureusement fermé car le temps pluvieux ne s’y prêtait pas!"

Altezza Arc 1800 Hotel & Spa - ex Mercure

10/10 Excellent

"We loved our stay here. Great communication on arrival instructions before we got there as weren’t familiar with the area and weren’t driving. We got the funicular from bourg saint Maurice and then the free shuttle to the chamotteger stop. It all works very well together timing wise. Then it’s a short walk uphill (bit of a challenges with our suitcases but it was only short). It’s also a short walk down to the main area with a great choice of restaurants some shops and we were in the summer season but a whole host of activities for the kids. The whole hotel had a very cosy vibe with incredible views, definitely worth paying for a room with a view, loved the pool. Everything was clean and well kept,service was very friendly whoever we spoke to. Replen at breakfast was a little slow. there was a good choice and all was tasty just at times we were waiting a while for plates or still water. Room was clean and spacious only criticism was it was a little hot at times, air con would have been useful and it was 2 beds pushed together rather than a double which I don’t find the comfiest and pillow choice wasn’t great they were very soft and no alternatives. We didn’t like the rule where you could only eat there if you were half board the first day we had a LONG day of travel but had to go out and find dinner where as we would have liked to stay at the hotel but didn’t want to eat every night to make it half board. This felt a little money making. Overall we loved our stay. "
