Not a safe location
We returned to the rental from a beautiful day only to come back to a house that appeared to be broken into. The story we are being given is it was the cleaning crew. So….. The cleaning company came in and trashed my daughters room going through all of her things. Then stole random things from us. Vacasa and the cleaning crew tried to brush the situation under the rug. This happened on the day after check in. Our trip was tainted by this situation and the kids were terrified to stay at the house which resulted in me sleeping on the couch to protect the kids. Not very comfortable or enjoyable. Again this is not a safe house unless you don’t mind strangers coming in and then stealing from you. I really hope the property owners read this as I have no other way to let them know how their property is being taken care of. I am trying to find out Vacasa procedures but I unfortunately no longer trust them and their services. Very sad

Great Place, but...
From the pictures, we thought we would be able to launch our kayaks from the back-yard river access. The bank is steeper & higher than the pics show. Other than that, we had no problems with the property or our stay. The neighbors yards may be a bit messy, but we had no contact with any of them. I can understand if you sleep in the detached unit that the dogs next door might be an issue, but in the main house we weren't disturbed. Its a beautiful property, with a beautiful view. Clean, well maintained house and yard.

Just right !
Over all it was a very nice stay. Host was very attentive, we were short on towels & wine glasses….and she brought them right out to the lodge. There’s definitely a very limited access to the river, straight drop off. Trail needs Maintence or closed to public use.

Beautiful place
This is a beautiful home with a gorgeous view of the river. We stayed 3 nights to celebrate 3 August birthdays-mine, my daughter's and a grandchild. The hot tub was used every day and the kitchen was well stocked. Bring your own kleenex and napkins tho there were paper towels. It was quiet tho there are neighbors nearby but the yard is surrounded by trees and shrubs. Lots of room for the kids to run and play. We had to drive to find a swimming hole on the Smith River but was a beautiful drive and not far. My daughter and grandkids found a spot just down the road to play in the river too. We may be back next year!!

Lovely house, pretty view!
I almost don't want to say how nice this house/location is because I know we will be going back again and again and I don't want the competition for dates! I love the Smith River and the Redwoods and this house checked all the boxes, including a hot tub and a gorgeous view!
