"This was our second stay at the Parkside and it's great! Just a couple of blocks from the Royal BC Museum, it has free parking with in and out privileges for guests! Also includes multiple EV chargers (modest price). The small restaurant is great for a latte in the morning. The large koi pond in the lobby is delightful. The staff are very helpful, the bed was comfortable, location can't be beat, and the price very reasonable. I haven't used the spa, but I'm glad it's there. I'll be back."

"Bathroom smelled like raw sewage or rotten fish / dead animal.. maybe the P-trap or sewer system has a problem or maybe it really is animal-related. Room was never cleaned properly over 3 days. Amazingly bad homeless and addicts in the area. Worst neighborhood situation ever. All that aside, the restaurant was awesome and the front desk staff super friendly. But whatever causes that smell needs to be fixed."

"We (2) stayed in the comfort room for 8 days. When we first got here, we were a little disappointed with not having a standing shower in the room but overtime we made it work! The room itself was really clean and housekeeping came every single day. The staff here are incredibly kind and provided us with everything we asked for. The breakfast was 10/10 every single day. We couldn't be more happy. It's very quiet too. We will definitely come back here again. So thankful for the staff here, truly. Especially Serena and Rachel."
