The name Casa Pura Vida comes from a Costa Rican saying, " pura vida" meaning pure life; however it is more than just a saying it is a lifestyle of sorts. One that's all about enjoying life's little pleasure, slowing things down and living life to the fullest. So come enjoy the charm of this newly remodeled home with new furniture and located in the piney woods just minutes from the bay & the Silver Slipper Casino. So enjoy Pura Vida in the pines, beach, and bayous of Bay Saint Louis Mississippi.

This beautiful home met all of our needs, as I was booking I saw through pictures that it met all of our requirements for a rental, and the host was very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

Casa Pura Vida

We were looking for a house within an easy drive of Slidell, LA. Casa Pura Vida fit the bill! We had a very comfortable stay. The house was clean and had a decent sized and stocked kitchen. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to enjoy the firepit.

The house was as pictured and ideal for our one night stay. Only issue we had was that the cleaning lady arrived at 10 am when our listing said that our check out was 11 am.

This is a well kept home that is very clean and smelled nice. Had a small issue with microwave which the host took care of right away. I was able to use the garage which was a plus.

Jerry was a great host! We evacuated from a Hurricane and were above average needy renters , honestly. Jerry was so very kind, spoke to me numerous times over the phone and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a home away from home - can’t thank them enough !

The owner seems to be trying to charge a lot of extra money, after I booked. It was double booked so we could not get checked in one the first day. I had paid for a nearby hotel for my employees after he said he would reimburse, but he didn’t not reimburse the full total on the receipt I sent. After check out, he is saying it will need extra cleaning so I’m sure he can charge my company yet again. While they were there, a ladder was stolen out of the back of a truck. Couldn’t check the cameras for me, but definitely didn’t fail to tell me when it was offline. I will never rent this property again.
