The only thing we didn't like was no option to sign in to Netflix or Prime Video . Other than that having breakfast watching swans and the convnience of the location was outstanding

Great hotel for visiting Windsor. At the heart of the city with amazing views. Room was lovely and quiet, staff were very friendly and helpful. I've only knocked stars off because there was no on-site parking which is understandable when you see the location. There is hotel parking close by which is payable. Food and drink overpriced but expected at these venues.

I stayed in an executive room in Windsor House. The room I was very small and only had 1 chair…where is the other person going to sit? I also think that there should have been conditioner in the bathroom and as it was an executive room, bathrobes I feel I pad a lot of money for what seemed to be classed as a standard room

The website states coffee and Tea brewing facility in the rooms. It was a kettle and a sachet of instant coffee. Not the standard I’m used to and it’s certainly not “brewing facilities” I had to speak to 3 levels of staff before I was finally offered a nice coffee from room service.

Very nice hotel by the river. Plenty of restaurant options. Windor castle right next to the hotel. Parking option is recommended, even though at about 500 meters from the hotel, but very easy to find and secure. We highly recommend this hotel for your saty in Windsor, specially if you are driving.

Multiple older buildings as part of this hotel. Lots of character. Great location with terrace and restaurant overlooking the Thames. Easy walk up the road to Windsor Castle or across the bridge to Eton. Super helpful staff.

Lovely building, lovely room. Windsor is splendid as all know. Breakfast very good . Great hotel BUT ......There is one thing room was crying out for ... double glazing. Lot of noise at night 3/4 am with people outside (Sat night) and then planes to Heathrow first thing in morning. Double glazing needed with laminate glass(with an acoustic layer) - it would make a world of difference as not quiet and spoiled sleep all because of archaic single glazing.This type glazing available for sash windows too so this is not the issue. My firmest recommendation.

We stayed for our anniversary. It was a pleasant stay. Positives: vary clean, comfy bed, great shower, nice breakfast. Negatives: noisy room, parking - we were told that the on site car park was for blue badge holders only. We were then told it was for staff parking and that if guests did stay it would cost £25 a day. The hotel offered parking a little way away, by the railway station for £45 for 3 days. We thought this was a rip off as you can park using the RingGo app for £14.90 for 3 days. Also, the hotel state that they offer the best rates - we booked through Trivago and saved over £100 for the same spec room.

Great location by the river and within easy walking distance of town centre, eton and the castle. Lovely breakfast. Parking was close by, in the station, though was an extra charge. Ltd draught beer choice though in the bar, no bitters or ales on tap, and no cider and the bar does not do cocktails. We did notice cobwebs in the room had not been cleared, cleanliness was not the best in the room

Best in Windsor
Such a beautiful hotel and the staff were amazing, especially Ines. Ines was very helpful during check in and it was lovely to have a warm welcome on Christmas Eve morning. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to so much or even a short drive to everything. The breakfast was also lovely and all the staff were friendly. We got a table right next to the window which was nice and relaxing with a beautiful view. We would definitely go back!!

Good for couples!
Lovely hotel. Rooms are split across multiple buildings and our room was a bit of a trek. The room was lovely, clean and very comfortable. If I had to criticise; it would be the bar closing time. Back from an evening out, a nightcap would have been just the ticket. The breakfast was excellent!!

The worst! Nickel and dimed like mad!
I have never been more disappointed with a hotel stay. When I arrived I was told that I was in an executive room but I could upgrade, for £30 if I wanted a better room. I was also told that I’d have to pay an additional £20 to have my spouse in my room as it was booked for one person. My room was small with a tiny window. My husband’s head actually touched the ceiling in two parts of the room. The “free” breakfast (I’m assuming that’s what the extra £20 was for) was absolutely appalling. (Sour milk, old fruit and eggs sat under lights for hours) Finally, we requested a late checkout at check-in and we’re told that was fine. When I stopped at the front desk to confirm the late check-out after breakfast, I was told I’d be charged £10/hour for the late checkout. There are so many better options in Windsor. Look elsewhere…
