Und ich bin wirklich nicht heikel, da ich auf meiner Durchquerung der USA 2018 an einige „lustige“ Hotels/Motels geraten bin. Zum Problem: - Checkin angeblich ab 15:00 gemäss ebookers. Um 15:00 war ich dort. Kein Personal da. Alles abgeriegelt, mann kommt gar nicht zur Rezeption. Man kann läuten - vergebens. 15:20 bequemte sich dann auf meine Rufe hin und die Unterstützung anderer Hotel-Gäste doch noch ein Mann zur Rezeption. -Der Mann verstand jedoch nicht was ich wollte. Worte wie: Check-in oder die Reservationsbestätigung von ebookers schienen ihm absolut fremd. Ich gebe zu, mein Spanisch ist gar nicht gut, also musste Google-Translate her. Jedoch schien er auch auf Spanisch nicht zu verstehen, dass ich einfach nur einchecken möchte. Nach langem Hin- und Her, kam dann eine junge Frau und ich konnte ca. mit einer Stunde Verspätung einchecken... - Dass das angepriesene WLAN grösstenteils nicht funktionierete ist noch eine Sache. Von 4 Tagen hatte ich ca. einen Tag WLAN. Als ich die Besitzer darauf aufmerksam machte, schien das jedoch niemanden gross zu stören. - Warmes Wasser für eine Dusche hatte ich nicht immer und die Spülung der Toilette funktionierte ebenfalls nur spoadisch. Also habe ich den Abfalleimer stets mit Wasser aufgefüllt und so gespült. Zudem kam aus der Dusche ein bestialischer Gestank. Lo padre también es que te prestan gratis las bicis para recorrer el centro y las playas. Il personale parla solamente la lingua locale. Dopo due giorni mi è arrivata una mail con scritto 'gracias' e mi sono ritrovato un'addebito sulla carta di credito utilizzata per la prenotazione con un pernottamento a me sconosciuto. About 1.5 k from ado bus station. Located next to a large supermarket But the price was right. None of the staff spoke english. But were very friendly and attentive. Bikes are avilable to use free ( you get what you pay for). They do function. Hot water takes forever ( apparently the norm). Aircon worked well... I walked everywhere ( taxis are available always). Great place to hang your hat while visiting the cenotes, ruins, beach, and tulum night life. The free parking allowed us to use a rental car (which I highly recommend for tulum and surrounding area but make sure you rent from another location like Playa Del Carmen, too expensive to rent in tulum). If you don't have a car they offer free bicycles to commute to the beach, ruins and the closer cenotes. Wish they had coffee in the lobby in the morning but I was able to get some from the OXXO across the street. Most days there is a torta (sandwhich) stand on the street beside hotel which has delicious tortas, and the grocery store is right on the corner. Staying here you are close to a lot of conveniences as well as near the end of the tourist strip. Some reviews mentioned the traffic being too loud on the big window rooms but we stayed in one and had no problem sleeping. Rooms are big with high ceilings, air conditioning, good water pressure, and clean.
