Perfect home base in Rome
Even before we checked in Adriana was super helpful by making us aware of an upcoming general strike that we had no idea may impact our arrival in Rome by train. We had an excellent checkin experience with a quick tour of the apartment and tips we might need to know regarding our stay. There is everything that a family may need in this spacious flat- it even has a dryer which is the only one we had on our whole 18 day trip. The location is close to the bus station and we made use of this as the flat is not close the the main tourist attractions although we did the 15 min walk to the Vatican. If you need a place for a larger family or group do not hesitate to stay here. Excellent choice!

Could not have been better
From before our arrival Adriana was the best hostess. She arranged a wonderful driver to meet us at the airport, who then continued to assist us with transportation while we were in Rome. Adriana provided great advice for everything we asked about. The apartment felt very homey, with so many nice unexpected touches - tissues, sweets, coffee, cozy blankets on the couch. There was a very nice market a few doors up for groceries, beverages, snacks, etc. The neighborhood was lovely and safe. We will definitely stay again on a return to Rome.

Wonderful apartment
Very nice, very clean. Adriana was very responsive to all of our questions. Lovely quiet neighborhood with many restaurants nearby and a grocery store. 15 minutes to the Vatican. The space was great for our 7 person group, would highly recommend!

Delightful stay for a family
We needed a place with four bedrooms, and this VRBO for our needs well. Adriana responded promptly to our questions, and made our stay easy. The property was clean, in a great neighborhood, and was right across the street from a bus that took us to Piazza Venezia in about 10-15 minutes in the heart of Rome. From there it was easy to walk to the Colosseum, the Forum, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, etc. Of course the biggest plus to this location was its proximity to St Peters and the Vatican. The neighborhood had numerous restaurants and cafes to get pizza, pasta, big breakfasts, coffee, and drinks. We found three grocery stores nearby, and down the street is a covered outdoor market. And we had plenty of coffee pods that lasted us our whole stay. For a family or large group needing multiple bedrooms with a nice washer and dryer, this VRBO is great.

Grateful for Adriana for a lovely stay in Rome
We are a family of 7 adults and 3 children in their early teens. This place was large enough to accommodate all of us to celebrate our parents’ 50th anniversary. Taking the bus to and from downtown Rome and the Vatican was so easy and the bus stop is across the street. Ubers are also available or car service through Adriana. Lots of good restaurants nearby and grocery stores. We enjoyed our stay so much and also lucky to see the pope celebrate Sunday Mass and the Angelus. Thank you Adriana! We hope to visit again soon. All the best!

Great Roman apartment
The apartment was perfect for our family of 8. Adriana was very responsive and setup our transportation from the train station/airport. The metro bus stop is just outside for easy access. The restaurant, Virto Food Journey, out on Gregorio VII right out of the building down the block has excellent food at reasonable prices. I highly recommend going for Apertivo, delicious. You won't be disappointed with choosing this apartment.

Family trip to Italy
This apartment was the perfect place to stay. It was roomy, clean and comfortable. Adriana was an exceptional host. She is extremely responsive to any questions and made sure we had anything we needed. Adriana set up transportation, greeted us at the apartment to go over every detail and replaced a coffee maker immediately after we told her it went out. In addition, she is so welcoming and made our first trip to Italy wonderful.

Friends trip to Italy
My three girlfriends and I had a great time during our stay. Our host Adriana was great at communicating before the trip and all the way through. She met us at the apartment to check in and arranged our transport from the airport. Those extra touches mean a lot when traveling from out of the country. The apartment was spacious and clean and close to everything. Our first visit to Rome was made special by Adriana and the accommodations. Grazie Adriana!

Fabulous stay
This property was absolutely the best! All the rooms were big and comfortable. We had 6 adults and had 2 bedrooms to spare. I would recommend getting a bus pass - you can get wherever you want to go. Adriana took care of ordering the taxi to the airport and it was a relief knowing that it was taken care of. Thanks, Adriana, for helping make our stay perfect!

Pleasurable Stay
Adriana greeted us with a smile and with kindness. She communicated well before our arrival as I had questions about parking (rented a car) and arrival time. We couldn’t ask for a better host. Great neighborhood for local life and easy access to Rome
Great apartment that is in a neighborhood of Romans. Nice little bistro within the block that was a great option for quality casual meals. 20 minute walk to the Vatican, and Adriana the host was always ready to help with cabs or transfers to any location our party of nine wishes to go. It was a great option for our 3 day trip to Rome and we will definitely stay with Adriana when we return!

Great place from which to tour Rome.
Very comfortable place in a great location close to restaurants, grocery stores and buses, which took us to the colosseum, St Peter's Square in a few minutes. We especially enjoyed the air conditioning after a long, hot and sweaty day of touring. The only downside is the small showers, but it isn't a deal breaker.

Great apartment with plenty of room.
Our family of 7 stayed in the apartment and never felt crowded. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and all eat at the table for dinner. There is plenty of dining options nearby as well as a store. I would recommend this apartment.

Family vacation
This property is just as described. 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms made this stay so easy to do with an extended family. The apartment is within walking distance to Vatican City, which we took advantage of. Adriana was a helpful and gracious host, explaining how to use everything and booking taxis for us to get to and from the train/airport. I would definitely stay here again... And we do plan to visit Rome again!

Great location and Great space for large group
Adriana is a superb host. I don't expect much travel advice and/or travel logistics from a host, but Adriana is at the ready! She explained everything about the VRBO and booked taxis to help us get to scheduled tours. My travel advice - book everything before you come to Rome. The general admission lines were horrendous. The VRBO is perfect for large groups. We are a family of four adults and we did not touch two of the bedrooms. It was convenient to have access to clothes washing machines. One morning, we enjoyed the veranda and read. It was great to have an outside area to chill. Local markets and eateries were very nice! It was about a 25 minute walk to St Peter's. We highly recommend this VRBO and Adriana certainly is part of that recommendation. Only one downside is the beds are a bit hard, but that would not stop us from staying again.

The property was very clean and had the perfect configuration of beds for our family. The location was not as ideal for getting to the metro as we would have liked but worked out for Uber. The coffee shop downstairs was great and bring close to the grocery was ideal. Overall Adriana was very helpful and responsive.

The home is very clean and has plenty of room for a large group. Conveniently very close to a supermarket and restaurants. About a 25 minute walk to the Vatican. Would definitely stay again!

Family Reunion in Italy
The apartment was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Beautiful property, one of the best in which we have stayed. Adrianna was most helpful in many diverse ways from answering many questions months in advance to arranging private taxi service to various locations, all at reasonable pricing. The only negative would be that there is no Metro stop nearby. However, there is a bus stop directly by the apartment which has convenient service to ALL the high spots. The apartment easily accommodated my large family group of 9 people. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

Everything was perfect for our family of 8 in this large well located apartment. The apartment was clean, really well stocked and equipped. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything except an oven. Adriana and Francesca were wonderful and even ordered our cab to the airport. One point of interest was the apartment is starting to look a bit tired and worn and could use a paint job. Otherwise everything was great and I highly recommend this apartment we will gladly rebook it for our next family vacation to Rome. Ciao Fran

Amazing stay
Ms. Adriana, was a wonderful host. She made sure to contact me a few days prior of my arrival and arraigned for two cars to pick all us up. She was kind enough to wait for us outside the apartment complex and took her time to go over where some of the essential stores were. Once inside the apartment, she showed us around the apartment and made sure we knew the codes to enter and lock the apartment and the front door to the apartment building. She had several adaptor chargers for our phones etc. In rhe kitchen area, there is a map of the city of Rome and where some of the attractions are located. It also has a list of nearby stores, restaurants, tours, their hours of operation and their conract numbers. She contacted me a few days prior to follow up with how my stay was going and if I needed a car yo take us back to the airport. We had 3 different parties with 3 different flight times, Ms. Adriana ensure that there was a vehicle ready and available to take us to the airport. Overall. Ms. Adriana made sure that we felt as if we were at home and part of her family. I recommend her 1000xs over. Thank you once again Ms. Adriano to you and your mom for such an amazing experience.

Second time back to Chez Nana
We were here a few years a back with a group of eight adults, and had the most fantastic stay at Chez Nana experiencing beautiful Roma. We returned with four different friends as I could not imagine a more lovely place to stay. Chez Nana is in the most perfect location! It is situated in a wonderful neighborhood that is more local oriented rather than tourist oriented, which makes it highly desirable. Restaurants, beautiful markets with the most splendid cheeses, fresh bread, meats and wine, shopping, all within steps of Chez Nana. We walked everywhere from here: the Colloseum, the the Pantheon, the Vatican. If you are not able, public transportation is readily available. Adriana arranged for a private pick-up from the airport, and Francisco was there waiting for us upon our arrival. He is wonderful. Actually, you can arrange for many private tours after your arrival to Chez Nana. There is an abundance of information available posted in the kitchen (cucina). On that note, there is a myriad of cookware etc., and you can make a gourmet meal if you so desire! The kitchen is small, but extremely efficient and has all the amenities one could want. The bedding is dreamy and made for very comfortable sleeping after long days of perusing around Rome. Adriana is extremely responsive to any need, and she met us upon arrival to arrange for a tour of the apartment and any needs we may have. Adriana is lovely. She makes for the most perfect stay. Thank you Adriana! We will return.

Perfect for families visiting Rome!
Celebrated my mother's 60th birthday in Rome. It was our first time. This apartment was perfect for my family of 8. Easily accessible to everything. Neighborhood had everything we needed. Including many restaurants and markets. Apartment was equipped with everything you need to feel at home! Adriana reserved transportation to and from the airport for us. She also surprised my Mother with a birthday cake and bottle of prosecco when we arrived! Grazie, Adriana!! We will be back!!

perfect for a larger family

Awesome Apartment, Wonderful Visit
Our group of 7 had a wonderful stay at Chez Nana. There was plenty of room for all of us. The location is near the bus stop and we rode the bus to the Metro station as well. There is a grocery store, several bakeries and pizza places up and down the street. We ate at many of them. Adriana also recommended a nearby restaurant that was phenomenal - Vecchia Del Gelsomino Di Lorenza e Tiziana. You will need reservations on the weekend or later in the evenings on weekdays - wonderful meals. The internet did not work well during our stay but that did not detract from our stay. The apartment itself was very charming and had everything we needed. I am so happy to have found Chez Nana and highly recommend it to others looking for a place to stay while in Rome.

Felt like staying at our family’s house!
Great space, plenty of room for all 8 of us. We had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. Adriana took the time to walk me around when we got there to explain everything. We walked to a few places like dinner and the grocery store. The Vatican was a bit far for our kids and parents to walk (they took a taxi) but the young adults were able to do it just fine! My son is already talking about when we stay there again. We really loved it. Felt like a home!

Wonderful Place to stay in Rome!
We had a fantastic stay at Adriana’s apartment in Rome! We were 3 couples and our Granddaughter, 8 months old. The apartment is located very close to the Vatican and near ma y restaurants and other stores! The place is very roomy and Adriana was absolutely WONDERFUL!! So helpful and accommodating! Just a great place to stay!! Wouks absolutely stay there again when in Rome!!!

Great value for the size, location & number of rooms. Was actually very comfortable for me and my family. The door lock code-mechanism was our only issue, as we only had one manual key to use. Aside from that, we had an excellent time there. Very comfortable!

Good morning, I apologize again for the incovenient with the door lock. Unfortunately, even if we called the technician the same day he was not able to find the piece to fix the door since the period in which you came was a period of vacation for many businesses in Rome. The only thing for allowing you to use freely the apartment was to give you the manual key (just one because it is an emergency key). I’m still very sorry for the inconvenient and thank you again for your feedback.

Chez Nana is a beautiful apartment with everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. Adriana has thought of everything We spent two weeks at Chez Nana and it really started to feel like home. A dream of an apartment, within walking distance of the Vatican
Adriana and her daughter Francesca were the perfect hosts. They met us within minutes of our arrival, allowing us to leave luggage before check-in so we could begin exploring.
