"We only booked the Ramada at Remarkables Park due to our flight being cancelled out of Queenstown. I booked through Expedia and a booking was confirmed by them. When we arrived at the property the premises at 23:00 hours they were shut We eventually arrived at the property at around 23:00 hours and we managed to locate the duty manager at a nearby hotel. He was fantastic when he arrived, sorted everything out and we had our reservation fulfilled along with three other couples. Our room was clean, the duty manager was excellent with us and the executive suite that we had was quite palatial and perfect after such a rubbish day. We also managed to get an extension to our checkout time without charge. The issue I have is with Expedia here solely because we were able to book the premises when they were not taking any further bookings that evening. The hotel has great staff, the rooms were exceptionally clean and the cafe downstairs called franks was a godsend. Perfect breakfast menu and wonderful coffee. Start of a new day and I would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel was clean and the food was good. However, I was disappointed with the parking situation. When I made the booking, it indicated that free parking was available, and the hotel photos also gave the impression that parking would be easily accessible. However, when we arrived, we found that most of the parking spaces belonged to other organisations, and the hotel itself had only a limited number of spaces available. I think the hotel should clearly explain during the booking process that on-site parking is limited, so guests travelling by car know what to expect before they arrive."

10/10 Excellent
"First, the staff is amazing - every person we came across in our 7 day stay was friendly, helpful and downright cheerful. The front desk staff at checkin and out were great. We made a lot of friends at ThreeSixty, the restaurant and bar where everyone was so helpful with suggestions and ideas for what we could do - Thanks Martin, Izzy, Josefina, Hannah, and our friends from Mexico - you guys are the best! Second, the location is absolutely unbeatable. There are 30 restaurants within a 5 minute walk, as are all the lakefront amenities, great shopping, great everything. The Gondola was a 10 minute walk... it really couldn't be more convenient if you plan to do any exploring. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable and waking up the the lakeviews was spectacular. Even got to use the small gym a couple of times. This was our first trip to NZ and Queenstown, but we will definitely be back."
