Perched on Kauai's north shore, this paradise offers dramatic cliff views and access to pristine Hanalei Bay beaches. Golf enthusiasts love the championship courses while hikers can explore the nearby Na Pali Coast's breathtaking trails when seas are calm.
I am 29 years old, travelling with my girlfriend. This hotel is so underrated. The room was very clean and prettier than online photos may suggest. The view on the mountains was simply perfect. It has an authentic hawaiian vibe and is close to nature. The owner, Philip, as all the staff, were very friendly. The pool is clean, the breakfast is convenient. We had music shows three times. We definitely recommend!!

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights at the start of April 2024. We had a King Room, Pool View and we’re on the 3rd floor in the easternmost building. Cleanliness is huge for me, and this property and room was immaculate. The hotel room had flooring throughout (yay for no carpet when you’re packing sand around), and the bathroom was one of the largest I’ve seen in any standard hotel room with an awesome walk in shower. Staff with pleasant and very helpful. The view: phenomenal of the large pool...

Expectational Customer Care!
Due to Hurricane Lala and cancelled flights, we were unable to make our reservation. Notwithstanding that the booking was non-cancellable, we contacted the hotel to enquire about a refund in the exceptional circumstances. We received an immediate positive response and they and Expedia have now processed the refund. MAHOLA

We stayed for 5 nights and couldn’t be happier! The hotel was wonderful! Beautiful pool area and beach area. Lots of seating and most with umbrella’s. Beach was awesome with chairs set up, umbrellas and even hammocks. We loved sitting there at night watching the waves come in and the sunset. Hotel was clean and well kept. Hotel staff was friendly and super helpful. We loved the bikes and took a nice long ride along the beach. The valet staff gave us great directions and tips on where to go...

We ended up staying at the Hotel Coral Reef last minute due to an unforeseen circumstance during our camping trip in Kauai and I am so thankful we chose here! This is a place that are now few and far between; a family owned and ran hotel. Unlike most other places in the area, there are no "resort fees", "cleaning fees" etc. Peggy Sue is the great-grandma and is the most adorable person you will come across! She welcomed us with open arms and as we were only staying for one night she insisted...

Very friendly staff, flexible for accommodating our check-out time to coordinate with our flight time. Pretty ocean view, walkable to all beaches in area and downtown.

Great family-friendly resort. The hotel staff from valet, front desk, groundskeepers, and servers were incredibly friendly and kind. The rooms were very clean and the staff clearly did a lot to manage the mold in this high-humidity climate. We've stayed at other hotels on Kauai where moldy smells are an issue and we didn't encounter any issues here. The pools and grounds are phenomenal and the location allows for a central point to go east or west island for day trips. All parking and resort...

We very much enjoyed our stay at the banyan harbour- the condo was equipped with everything that we needed. They layout was nice and for the 4 of us well, we were not tripping over each other. The harbour banyan also has beach gear that we could use, which was very convenient. Kiki was very helpful And even gave us guide books and coupons for the restaurants in the area. The location was close to the airport and only 15 minutes from the popular popiu area.

Fantastic beachfront location, with a few good restaurants within walking distance. Depending on who is on duty at the front desk, communications range from excellent to poor.

The house was much larger than we expected, and had every amenity of home (but for shampoo). The owners (and really everyone we met in the town of Pahala) were incredibly warm and welcoming. We will come again.
