"Good location close to Ostia Antica by local bus."
Location convenient to both Fiumicino Airport and Ostia Antica. Friendly, helpful staff who explained local bus usage and had bus passes available for purchase. Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was excellent! Nice variety of breakfast foods available at 6a.m., as well as deliciously prepared bruschetta and pizza for dinner in the restaurant. The restaurant staff were courteous and were proud of the food they were serving. We enjoyed interacting with them. All in all, a most pleasant experience and well worth the price of the stay.
We stayed here to catch a flight out of the Rome airport. The hotel was very clean and we got a Sea view, so the sunset was amazing. We went during the winter so there is not much to do in walking distance. There were just a few restaurants to choose from, but that's all we needed. They had secure, gated parking. The are itself was a large community of apartment buildings, so it wan not at all charming and looked a bit run down in areas. But the view was amazing, and it was 10 minutes from the airport.
ALL the staff were so accommodating as my luggage was broken open when my flight arrived in Rome from Skopje Macedonia. I was so frustrated with Alitalia and their lack of concern or direction when filing the claim. Then when trying to get a taxi the driver told it would be 60 Euros which I advised I was not prepared to pay so he called the hotel and David at the hotel had a lengthy conversation with the driver and then me where I agreed to 40 Euros when the average fare is 25 Euros. After I settled in David provided me with a discount coupon to an amazing restaurant called BOA on the same street and Leroy at the restaurant prepared a special meal for me as I am a vegan which was fabulous as was the "Craft beer". brewed locally at the restaurant.
The Beach and sea are literally across the street and so many shops and a huge market and lots of great restaurants in the vicinity!
The Breakfast buffet was lovely providing an assortment of cereals, fruit, yogurt, cheeses, meats, eggs. bread for toast, croissants, cakes, coffee and tea. The room was so clean, comfortable, warm and quiet!! The staff even went the extra mile as the shuttle driver for the shuttle which costs 15 Euros each way taped my suitcase shut to get me to the airport where I had it wrapped tightly for10 Euros to ensure it made it home safe and sound.. The staff truly were exemplary in every way and I am grateful for all the extra kindness shown to me during my stay!!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, however very far from all attractions, would recommend if you are looking for a place to rest and unwind, not for those who wish to visit Rome. The journey to any attraction can take up to 2 hours, buses are scarce and people do not want to be bothered by tourists.
The hosts lived next door and were very nice and showed us our rooms. They can speak English. This place is very far from train station, so if you plan to sightsee in Rome then find some other place close to a train station and closer to all the sights. This place is good to stay if you want to go to the airport, 25-30 minutes ride by taxi to the airport. We stayed one night at this place in June 2010 There is nothing close by here, except for a couple of restaurants and a few shopping places.

Lying 31 kilometres southwest of Rome, Lido di Ostia this is Rome’s seafront. Most of the busy beach is privatised, so there is a surcharge for use and loungers and parasols. The jewel of the area is nearby Ostia Antica. The architectural site gives a fascinating insight into the everyday life of sailors, merchants and slaves dating to the fourth century B.C. It later became Ancient Rome’s port for 600 years.
