My stay at Rome Airport Hotel Fiumicino was disappointing. The exterior, portrayed nicely on the website, was dilapidated, as was the surrounding area. We only chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport. However, there were a few positives. A local ice cream parlour nearby served amazing ice cream, which we visited multiple times. The local beach was child-friendly and enjoyable. The room accommodated all five of us, but at £400 for one night, I expected better. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn't work, and the staff's response was unhelpful. The bathroom shower was awful, with a leaking pipe and a blocked drain. The beds were comfortable, but the rooms lacked soundproofing. The balconies were as dilapidated as the hotel's exterior. The interior seemed recently renovated, but maintenance issues were apparent. The lift was unsafe, randomly moving up and down. Breakfast was disappointing, lacking variety in pastries and juices, although the coffee was good. Given the choice, I wouldn't stay here again.

So this is now a Comfort Inn. The description on Expedia states there is a restaurant in the hotel, but there isn’t one. The room was dirty, dental floss in the bathroom floor. Half of of electrical outlets did not work. They were either ripped out or kicked in. Very weak Wi-Fi. Also, Expedia lists this as a 4 star hotel….absolutely not. We were I. Room 304, which is a complete dump, and looks nothing like the o line photos. Perhaps other rooms have been updated. To pay $480 for this dump, I feel completely ripped off.

Spacious place but a bit run down and old. Place was clean overall but we found an used up stick from lollipop under the main TV, yuck. Breakfast was great but the neighborhood was rough. You have take a taxi to the airport and local restaurants.

Hotel was about 10min drive from airport. Hotel was clean and very nice room. Only complain there was no shuttle from and to hotel as receiption told me and as website stated. They called me a taxi
