This hotel was modern, well equipped, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.It was situated in a bustling harbour area where restaurants were open late, serving amazing food. The hotel also had a restaurant however the menu was very limited and also expensive considering the level of local competition. The hotel staff were amazing. They could not do enough to help you. They even ordered your transport to the airport on your departure date which picked you up at the hotel door. Sadly we were only in the hotel one night. It will definitely be on my hotel list for our next visit to Rome.

This hotel was amazing! Restaurant and bar, rooftop pool, coastal views... all located in a quaint fishing town near the airport. We were wrapping up our vacation (Rome tour and Cruise) and Hotel Tiber provided the perfect, relaxing setting for our last few days in Italy. They provided a shuttle from our Cruise Port to the hotel for a very reasonable cost and they provide airport shuttles as well. Service for the shuttles we utilized along with all of the hotel staff were extremely accommodating and friendly! There were so many areas to see and restaurants to enjoy in Fiumicino; all within walking distance from the hotel. Hotel Tiber stands a bit higher than most buildings in the area, so it made it very easy to use as a landmark and navigate the town area on foot. Our rooms had balconies with a view overlooking Fiumicino and the sea to the South and Southwest. Night views of the town were beautiful from the hotel, especially with the Ferris Wheel lit up. There was some coastal construction on-going but was not a bother during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone flying into or out of Rome FCO! Such a cute little town; I could have spent our entire Italian vacation here! It was definitely a peaceful retreat!

Stayed on the last 2 nights of a 14 day trip thinking it would be good to get back near airport. Not worth it. This is not a 4 star hotel although it is a very small fishing town so there is not much else around. The breakfast was not replenished the 2 days we were there and it was nothing like the other ‘4 star’ hotels we stayed at. I would look somewhere else.

For a four star hotel that was not cheap, they really stiff you on everything they can. The rooms are small, the airport shuttle costs a fee. The pool is only open from 10-8, it should really be open earlier. What’s worse is that they require a swim cap - I’ve never heard of a hotel doing that - so they sell one for 3 euros, plus a mandatory towel for another 3 euros. The area around the hotel is dark and sketchy. I wouldn’t recommend this place even if it were half the cost, let alone what it is.

We loved the property. We were able to get our room earlier and were able to enjoy the surroundings. Restaurants are plenty and walkable distance. Breakfast was a good buffet with lots to chose from. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The shuttle service (7 Euros and 10 minutes from airport) was on time as requested upon arrival and went without a hitch. We simply enjoyed our stay are our cruise.

Terrible place with poor service Pros: lots of restaurants near property and close to airport Cons: bed hard and thin with poor quality pillows. pool is small with old equipment. Swim caps required 3 Euros each. No one was wearing them, went to desk to complain. "Management will be up to enforce." No one shows up. Towel heater broken. Keycard to room- light on says locked but you can still push the door open, had to try several times. Do not disturb does not work (light system on the lock) a sign would be easier. Balcony ash tray was not empty. Asked front desk how we could get to Rome train was on strike. She said take a cab. Well hello there is a bus! Very unhelpful staff. No customer service at all. We were misinformed by shuttle driver about cost. Found out on our second shuttle ride about the fee. Driver called hotel were decided not to ride the shuttle and was told by the driver no fee it is okay. We confirmed with her. Then hotel tried to charge us After the driver while on the phone with the hotel that we were not going to be charged. No coffee in the room machine in lobby is 1 euro for sub par coffee. Machine was dirty so did not get any. DO NOT stay here.

The hotel is nice. The location is convenient. It is close to the airport. It is also located on the harbor, so there are many choices of restaurants nearby that serve good seafood. We were disappointed, however, in the lack of hospitality we experienced in the hotel lounge. There is a lovely lounge in the lobby and my mother and I thought we would enjoy a drink before dinner. We ordered a gin tonic at the bar. The bartender asked us what type of gin. Well, there were dozens of bottles and from the other side of the bar it was difficult to read the labels. We had a hard time discerning any brand that we were familiar with, so my mother thought she would ask (in Italian) which brands were available(Obviously expecting the bartender to make some suggestions). Well, she obviously did not appreciate our question because we were rudely told: THE BOTTLES ARE THERE!! YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELVES!! Well, my poor mother is 82 years old and she has very bad vision… So no she cannot see for herself. The worst part was that even when she mentioned to the young lady that she had difficulty seeing, the young lady didn’t seem to care. She completely ignored us and kept talking to her coworker. Well, needless to say, we felt so bad that we walked out. Fortunately, there were other restaurants down the street that actually appreciated our business. Perhaps this individual could use some training in hospitality. That is no way to treat guests. A real shame:(

Air conditioning was not cooling our room. We couldnt control the air. I requested help from staff person and she pulled up room on her computer and said it is working but she wouldn’t lower it. The room felt like an old hospital room. Choosing this hotel was a major fail

La ubicación del hotel es buena porque está cerca del aeropuerto y tiene transporte por un costo de €7 por persona. La atención del personal fue mediocre y sobre todo en el restaurante. Viajamos 5 personas donde 3 eran niños y eran alrededor de 7 de la mañana entonces queríamos tomar el desayuno rápido porque teníamos que irnos a las 7:35 al aeropuerto. La mujer que atendía el restaurante fue súper odiosa y como mi esposo demoraba no nos dejó entrar a desayunar hasta que mi esposo no regresó y pago. Es absurdo! Porque no nos dejó entrar a desayunar y perdimos como 15 minutos. Que pensaba? Si éramos huéspedes obviamente pagar un desayuno no era nada. Le expliqué que mi esposo ya venía que nos dejara entrar pues era tarde y no quiso. La verdad decepcionante! El hotel es 4 estrellas pero parece de 3.

Clean hotel but showing a few signs of aging, but in a graceful way. Area is very quiet during the day but comes alive at night. Excellent dining options nearby to suit a wide range of taste and budget. Excellent location.
