Porto Romano is outside the city limits near the airport. It was quiet and peaceful as we were there during the colder months. We slept well and the staff were wonderful!

Great alternative to the typical airport hotel. Our room was large, well appointed, clean, and attractive. The restaurant is 1st rate. The hotel and its surroundings are beautiful.

A very beautiful property in a scenic location. Was there in February for 1 night, this seems more like a summer property for a longer stay if you had a boat and unlimited funds for transportation. For the most part the staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience to them. It could’ve been the language barrier but we stayed in another property near Termini in Rome where we were made to feel much more welcome and another in Florence where we literally were made to feel like family. It’s near the airport but remote and not many options once on property for anytime dining or purchasing basic convenience type needs like water and snacks. There was no coffee in the room and the heat wasn’t working properly and when we called about it nobody came to the room to check it out they basically said it seems to be working on their end but they’d do something about it and call us back which they never did. We had to turn it to the equivalent of 90 degrees to be semi comfortable and the bathroom away from the only heat vent was ice cold the entire time and we are people who keep the house at 69 degrees so not cold natured. If you’re a traveler looking for a one night stay near the airport I’d choose someplace else with more things nearby perhaps. The property truly is beautiful with great potential. The lack of courtesy and respect left some to be desired.

Friendly staff and very helpful. Location is great, close to Airport with a wonderful view. We will definitely come back to this property next time when we want to visit Rome
