Prior to arriving I was concerned that I wasn’t staying in a known branded hotel but needed something close to QMUL. From the moment we arrived all the staff were beyond amazing. Truly some of the best service we have ever seen. The breakfast menu is amazing, would strongly recommend including it in your stay. The rooms were very clean in general but room service and restock was conducted daily unlike most other hotels now. The location is great becaue only a couple stops from central London...

Being a family of 5 means difficulties finding one room arrangements to fit us all. The Kings suite with 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen/living room at the Taj was ideal and worked out essentially the same as booking two rooms in a standard hotel in central London. This was my first time booking through Expedia which saved $ and also scored free breakfast each day for our entire clan. (Moreover, this is the first time I have ever left a hotel review!). This a beautiful small hotel adjacent to the British Museum. The staff are friendly, attentive and committed to ensure comfort and a great stay. Great food in the restaurant, atmosphere in the bar and central sitting with coffee in the morning and hot chocolate in the afternoon. Short walk to Russel Square tube Station gives quick access to the London sites and a direct connection to Heathrow. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in London.

The hotel was perfect for a 4 night stay in London. The location was so central and near a subway station. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. Just be mindful if you book the King deluxe room, the bed is more of an XL double. It worked for four nights. The breakfast was wonderful, with many healthy options to choose from. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.
