Very easy check-in process with a keyless entry - this was good for us as we arrived at 10 at night. Super location within an easy walk to the Magic Sands Beach and just a little south of downtown Kona which is nice to get away from the crowds. The lanai faces a pretty area of vegetation with lots of birds and a you can see a small sliver of ocean, which was a bonus as we weren't expecting any ocean view.
