"The resort and grounds were very well maintained and beautiful. The staff who checked us in were very friendly. I upgraded my room to a 2 bedroom on the spot and they were very accommodating. When we got to our room I was so impressed with how huge and spacious the unit was. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We were in Kona for a couple of days so we were out and about for the most part. The beds were super comfortable. I liked the bracelets the kids were able to enter the unit and the pool area. I think we found ourselves a new place to stay whenever we’re in Kona. I highly recommend Kona Coast Resorts if you’re visiting Kona. Thanks KCR for the great experience. We will be back soon. Mahalo"

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Kings’ Land Waikoloa

"My husband and I love the Hilton Grand Vacations Club Kings’ Land Waikoloa - this trip was our 2nd visit! The pools are absolutely beautiful, set in the prettiest tropical landscaping I’ve ever seen at a resort. They also provide daily activities and live entertainment every evening! As for the upscale rooms, they are equipped with everything you need. Highly recommend for a relaxing vacation."

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Tower Waikoloa Village

"Tram broke down and we did not know. We waited at the tram station and had to be at the golf course outside the property in an hour. We waited and waited and finally was notified tram broke down and we had to walk to the Lobby, probably a 15 minute walk, then another 5 or so minute to the parking lot. Everyone walked, even with suitcases. In the afternoon, there was a shuttle bus service. Usually there are notifications if we wanted the towels to be changed. There was no signage or notification, so towels were not changed during our stay. We stayed there many times before in previously years. Service was lot better then, probably because they were short staffed this time."

"Pacific 19 was very convenient for our stay in Kona. Parking was a bit tricky, but staff were helpful and friendly. There is no restaurant but only an outside breakfast building-cart with coffee and pastries. However other dining options close by and room had a small fridge plus a microwave. Would stay there again as price was great for the convenience."

"My husband and I had a wonderful one week stay at Fairmont Orchid. The weather was perfect mid October, and this area is generally very dry. We were looking to unwind and only rented a car for one day to go visit Volcano village and the botanical gardens in Hilo. I do recommend a one and a half hour scenic drive to the beautiful gardens. Snorkeling in the hotel lagoon was an amazing experience. There are so many turtles there and different kinds of fish. The hotel provides snorkeling equipment free of charge. Do not forget water shoes for swimming. I saw many sea urchins. There were plenty of chaises in the shade as well as in the sun, and you could also rent covered chaises as well as private cabanas. The food is good but it’s better at the neighboring Mauna Lani for the same money. The shuttle will take you there free of charge. You can walk there along the beach. We enjoyed both resorts. Fairmont guests are welcome at Mauna Lani. Overall, great relaxing time."
