"This is a beautiful quaint little b&b in a very peaceful area. The host Guy was so lovely, accommodating and makes a delicious chicken curry! I stayed there to watch the Perseids meteor and it was just perfect. The comfy garden furniture and lack of any light pollution made it an amazing experience. The bed was very comfy and the room was nice. I will definitely be back next year to watch the meteor shower again. Would recommend."

Wander along the River Wey on the Phillips Memorial Park trail where locals gather for picnics on sunny afternoons. The historic Charterhouse School and medieval St Peter and St Paul's Church showcase Godalming's architectural heritage dating back to Saxon times.
I noticed that some of the staff at the restaurant are not friendly.
Got a wrong order on my breakfast and ask for the right one and it was charged again.

Very nice, comfortable room, nice to have the kitchen. Lots of space outside to eat and relax! The kids loved the animals and that it’s clise to Legoland! The restaurant near by was really nice too and also easy to get around without a car.

We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!

Lovely English country hotel. Excellent restaurant and lobby area. No air conditioning, so the rooms in mid-summer are very hot; fans provided but inadequate.

Liked everything . Lottie and Adriana in particular as co managers went out of their way for all that we wanted. We had very hot weather but had a fan in the room so no problem. Bathrooms looked recently renovated with nice shower. Charming British Pub and hotel. Not cheap but worth every penny and the food was superb.

Quaint room, lovely decor throughout property. Sipping gin offered in room with a whiskey tasting room offered to hotel guests in a small room off the corridor. Breakfast was amazing! We had the full English breakfast and the blueberry pancakes! Everything locally sourced and you could taste it! Can’t wait to stay again and try the restaurant for dinner, the menu looks incredible.

Stayed at the Mitre years ago, it has been renovated and was so much nicer. Room was clean as was the bathroom, I wasn’t keen on the toiletries that were in the bathroom, but I usually travel with my own anyway. There was a/c in my room and considering the whether it was very welcomed. I was given an upgrade to a room that overlooked the river which was very nice.
Only one complaint was the Service in the Restaurant that overlooked the river and the Cooked Breakfast which was not as nice as I...
