Paradox Vancouver

"Came to BC for a little fall trip and wanted to stay somewhere centrally located. Place was very easy to get to from the airport using public transportation. The hotel room wasn’t ready unfortunately when we got there despite it being past our check in time. They offered us a free drink at the karma lounge so I wasn’t too upset. Had not even finished my glass of wine before they came and gave us the room key! Room itself was clean and so comfy. All the things you’d expect and some i thought were nice additions. The amenities were great! Gym had plenty of things for a solid work out. The spa was a 10/10. Used the puzzle bike company for our bike rentals and had tons of fun. Turn down service was a nice touch and left chocolates on the bed. I will say we stayed Sunday- Friday and Thursday night there was some kind of event in the night club happening and I could definitely hear the music but it didn’t go past 9:30pm. Fortunately we didn’t stay friday/Saturday night when the night club is fully open and operating. It’s open till 3am according to online so maybe keep that into consideration if booking one of those days… the sounds definitely would have kept me up. Giving 4 stars due to the nightclub and room not being ready, but I would definitely consider staying again."

"Room was clean. Bathroom was small but efficient. The bed was extremely comfortable! We had a good night sleep after a long day of traveling. Great location! Walking distance to a local pub for good eats & drinks, recommendation by hotel staff. Starbucks around the corner for coffee in the morning. Love the decor!"

"We found this hotel and decided to stay, based on the posted photos, but mostly based on the reviews. We can attest that the reviews were very helpful and we weee beyond pleased with our stay. From check-in to check-out we were treated well and found the property beautiful. Kudos to the staff whom maintain the pool, hot tub and sauna…. these to me say a lot about how they care about their guests."
