"From arrival at the resort the excellent service begins when greeted personally at both the gated entrance and at the hotel entrance. Staff were immaculately uniformed, pleasant, polite and very friendly. The room was exceptional, very spacious and well equipped. Room service excelled. The choice of restaurants and quality of food was excellent. Only one night did we have an issue with the food being served cold, it was quickly resolved and staff were centrally informed of the issue. No booking necessary and dress code applies for afternoon dining at the many pools available. How could we fault their magnificent resort.. well… up until the day before leaving I was seriously ill after somehow catching food poisoning. It had to come from the resort as it was the only place we ate. The hotel doctor was in attendance and immediately called an ambulance. I was treated exceptionally well in the hospital but missed our flights as I wasn’t fit to fly. The hotel group at this point weren’t considerate. We needed to stay an extra 2 days at almost full rate. This was hugely disappointing as the illness was directly connected to the hotel. This cast a shadow on the otherwise attentive service received.. We felt the hotel should have given us a good discount but wouldn’t budge in their decision. The 2 days we had to stay before organising frights, hotel and connecting flights was far from a holiday. I was still very ill although doctors cleared me to fly. I didn’t eat or drink an "

"We just spent 6 lovely days at Excellence Punta Cana for our honeymoon and we are so sad to leave this beautiful resort! Firstly, the staff here are wonderful, so helpful, kind and welcoming! They went out of their way to make our stay wonderful! For the first 2 nights, we stayed in room 2210, an Excellence club Junior ocean view suit, with a wonderful view of the ocean. For the remaining 3 nights, we stayed in room 1005, an Excellence club private pool suite. Both were wonderful and the rooms and amenities were identical. The only difference was the ocean view or private pool. Our pool was the highlight of our stay. We swam in it multiple times a day and night and the temperate was perfect! The size was great for dips and relaxation. Our room came with hydrotherapy and we enjoyed this experience! The grounds are clean, Tropical and beautiful. The food at Magna for dinner and The Kitchen for breakfast and lunch was great! I especially loved the large spread of fresh fruit, omelette station at breakfast and the made to order Mediterranean station at lunch! We loved every meal we had for dinner at Magna and the Tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly for us to share! At the French restaurant, we loved the lamb! Oregano is a good lunch option and Lobster was decent. We didn’t get to try The Grill or Agave! The entertainment was fun and the highlights were the Circus and Michael Jackson shows! We will definitely be back! "

"It’s our second stayed at Nickelodeon and the hotel never disappoints. It was again a nice experience. If you young kids it’s a definitely the best hotel for vacation. "
