"Where do I even begin? This hotel managed to fail on every single level. Let’s start with the ice machine, or rather, the science experiment masquerading as one. Not only was it broken, but the inside and outside were covered in stains. Unfriendly front desk doesn’t quite cover it. Unhelpful doesn’t either. What they were was aggressively indifferent — the kind of indifferent that takes real effort to sustain. Every question was met with a sigh, and every request was treated as a personal affront. The room itself was awful. The ceiling had mysterious stains, the kind you stare at in the middle of the night wondering about their origin and immediately regretting the thought. The door had patched holes — multiple — which raises questions I’d rather not have answered. And the smoke detector? No battery. None. The spa coordinator was somehow even less personable than the front desk — cold, dismissive, and seemingly annoyed that we wanted to use the spa at a hotel with a spa. As for the restaurant, we were served lasagna that was cold, not lukewarm, not “it cooled down on the way over,” but genuinely, structurally cold. Would I recommend this hotel? Only to someone I truly, deeply disliked.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​"
