Rooms kinda smelled weird and drinks weren't the best. When they ran out of say rum they would just sub vodka with it. Which made them gross. Staff for the most part was wonderful. Been to Cancun many times probably worst food but still eatable.

Rooms were nice oceanview premier rooms. There was not much of a view to ocean when ur in the pool or when at restaurants. Food was good and staff was nice. We received butler service since we were Expedia vip members but other than booking our restaurants she couldn’t help us with much. There was not much seating around pool or out by ocean. They don’t have much of a lobby either. So at nite if ur not in a restaurant you don’t have any places to hang out. Overall decent resort ocean was beautiful but will probably not stay again.

The air conditioning in the room is fixed at 18 C . It was impossible to get lower degree . Rooms are warm . Ac is controlled centrally. Another inconvenient is men need to wear t shirt to eat at the buffet . Something stupid. In order restaurants men must wear pants. Come on you are in the Caribbean. Summertime. Hot time .

Overall we had a good time with my family. Resort was really clean and well taken care of. Beautiful grounds, nice pool and amazing beach, view from the room breathtaking. Very nice staff, hard working and very helpful, the best coffee in the cafe every morning was made by Edgar ( he was very nice and know how to do it right) , also Hector near the pool was great with our drinks. The food was mediocre, not much to choose from and very bland not much Mexican traditional dishes,we are not picky but it could be better. Nightly entertainment can use lost of improvement, fire show was really great and Mexican night was fun, rest of the week really can do better. Overall is not 5star luxury hotel.

Our room was always hot. We didn't have enough towels (4) for our party. We only had two beers in our room per day. We weren't allowed to dine in restaurants that needed reservations due to men not having oants. Too many reasons for me not to choose this property again.

I'm eager to share our wonderful experience at Grand Park Royal Cancún, which was genuinely magical. Set against the stunning backdrop of Cancún's vibrant shores, the resort offers breathtaking views and a team that elevates the whole experience. Aurora, our concierge, was particularly outstanding with her warm, efficient service, making every detail of our stay perfect. Our personal butlers, Mariana and Rey, enhanced our mornings by preparing our Bali bed and keeping us informed about daily activities and dining options, ensuring we didn’t miss out on anything the hotel had to offer. Dining at the Veranda Restaurant was a delight, thanks to Ivan, our main waiter, whose attentiveness made each meal a pleasure. Mario, at the Italian restaurant, provided excellent service and added a personal touch by sharing local insights and demonstrating dessert preparations. The spa provided a serene and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for relaxation. Even the presentations by the Royal Holiday Vacation Club were handled with professionalism by Cris and Breanna, adding value without pressure. Throughout our stay, every staff member was friendly and attentive, making us feel at home in a place that not only met but exceeded expectations. The property was ok, but they had too many rules for the all inclusive. Then when you didn’t want the tour because your exhausted from the flight they get mad and rude and didn’t even show us to our room, we had to find it and it was hot. Honestly the all inclusive at that hotel was not worth it. They even had a dress code for the buffet. As a first timer at Cancun I expected more.

This was the best stay in Mexico so far! This is our 10th time going to Mexico on vacation and this was so far the best. Staff at the hotel were amazing!! Property itself is also beautiful and kept really clean. We did get upgrade to Royal Tower and it was worth every penny! Beach area could have been more cleaner and organized better to be able to relax by the beach but the beach itself was the best so far. No rocks, no seaweed. Water was amazing! Our experience was great overall!! We will definitely return!

The hotel itself is ok. There are others that are better but it’s some that’s worse. I never known a pool to close at 9pm. Then they also cut off access to the beach at 9pm. I wanted to take a moonlight beach walk and couldn’t. Also they have several restaurants on site. But only the buffet is without reservations. All others need reservations and they are booked up daily by 8am. The food at the buffet was great especially the steak. Nice clean rooms. Overall I’d say this is a middle of the pack resort. Nothing to write home about

Great Beach area. Awsome staff, very friendly and helpful. Good food options and specialty restaurants. Very clean but our room needed some updating. They do need to add more chairs/umbrellas on the beach. It is a rce every morning to grab a beach chair and umbrella.
