Excellent location for staying in Banff. The restaurant is very good and the service is good. The only problem is the carpet in the hallway that looks old but that is all.

Property was very beautiful ahd clean. Undergoing renovations. Breakfast was awesome and the pool area was fantastic.

Owners Carolyn and Marcus provide a warm, homey environment. The rooms are lovely and clean with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the steam room or sit by the fire in one of the two large living areas. Carolyn, Marcus and staff were more than happy to make our stay enjoyable (made dinner reservations, made up an extra bed in our room for our visiting daughter, and even had an extra phone charger to lend us!).

This lodge caters for a variety of clientele: families with young children, active adults and those wanting a relaxing time getting away from city or business life with single, double or family rooms and chalets, and is pet friendly. We were a real mix of Calgarians, people from BC, tourists from South Africa, USA and UK. Simply the best night we’ve had away in a long time. The cabins are cozy. The food is amazing and the staff are fantastic! I would love a week here. 10/10 recommend!
