We really enjoyed our stay in Abitart Hotel. The room was very clean, nice and comfortable. The location is very good, it is not city center but you are 15 min. walk from the Coleseum and very close to the metro and train station. From this station you can take a train directly to the airport, 30 min. trip (8 euro).

"A paradise find off the main thoroughfare of Rome."
My stay at Hotel Aventino was quite memorable. It was not far of a walk from many of the main historical sites and the villa-like, country setting was a lovely escape from the active broad streets below. The warm, inviting staff were so attentive to any concerns or needs. The room was comfy and breakfast plentiful which I enjoyed each morning with a steaming cappuccino. I look forward to staying here again on my future visit to Rome.

The small and pretty hotel Aventino, an annex of hotel S. Anselmo, is located in Rome, in a 19th century villa. The …More
First, after staying in the Trevi fountain area, the Aventino area was a breath of fresh air. Cleaner, quieter, nicer, but still plenty accessible to sites and food. The hotel was fine. Our room was clean and modern. We stayed in 2 places in Rome, and 1 in Naples, and this was the best, especially at this price.

Barbara was brilliant - a fount of information. B&B excellent, not just for the big, but also the thoughtful small things too e.g: Headphones for hop on - hop off buses, teabags, fully stocked bathroom - lovely. Easy walk to Metro and buses at Piramide. Good local restaurants. We could not have asked for more. Thank you.
B&B Piramide Terrace was a lovely place to stay in Rome. A 20 minute walk from the Colisseum, the hotel is well situated close to a main metro line. The owners served delicious homemade cake every morning with our coffee and yogurt.
We stayed here for an overnight in Rome before a connecting flight. Place was easy to get to near Ostiense train station. Our suite was ridiculously clean - I mean spotless. Was a little noisy in the evening as we overlooked the rail lines, but not a big deal. AC worked great as did the wifi. My only complaint would be the bed was very squeaky and woke me up whenever I rolled over. Other than that, the fellow who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, and we feel like did very well with our decision to stay here.
We loved this place! Had great communications with the staff there before our arrival and when the airport burned the morning of our arrival and our flight was delayed, they contacted us per e-mail to see when we would arrive and when to send a driver etc. They waited up for us and were super nice and helpful!
They were extremely friendly and the rooms are brand new and have everything you could possibly need. We walked everywhere from there and started our days off with their breakfast coupon that you redeem in the buzzing Cafeteria downstairs. Looking forward to our next stay there, hopefully soon!
The most southerly of Rome’s seven hills, the Aventine offers splendid views over St Peter’s and Trastevere from the top. This peaceful, mainly residential quarter has leafy gardens, churches and cloisters. It also incorporates colourful Testaccio, site of the city’s old slaughterhouse where many locals once worked, and inns serving traditional Roman cuisine. It’s now a thriving area of good restaurants, shops, bars and clubs.
