Great location, nice decor.
I stayed here with my son to tour Cal Poly Chico. We were able to walk to all the restaurants as well as the campus. Moonstone beach was a short drive away and we enjoyed walking through the community forest near campus. I’d stay here again if my son chooses this school.

Nice, but some odd choices were made
I was taking my boyfriend to visit my family in Arcata and this property was offered at a great price, in a convenient location (walkable to downtown Arcata). Prior to going, I was surprised to see something like 65 amenities listed as that's more than even most hotels have. Vacasa was very liberal in what they chose to include - there's a public pool you can pay to go to in Arcata? This listing includes a pool and hot tub! High school campus nearby? Great, this property offers tennis! I messaged with Vacasa about this, but they stuck by the decision to list all these things not actually on site as amenities. Actual amenities not included at the property (and I'm not saying these had been listed, but they are relatively basic and would be nice to include): hair dryer, curtains in living room (esp when dark, anyone below can see in), any pantry supplies beyond spices, a dresser or something that would allow unpacking (there's room for this), blackout bedroom curtains (very light). There isn't a dishwasher. We didn't cook at all since we'd have needed to buy too many basics, but hey, there is an instant pot! There seems to be four of everything, so with four people staying, you'd need to hand wash just to keep up if trying to cook. There's plenty of room for a panty cabinet - I hope the owners add that as having oil, sugar, tea, and other basics is nice for guests. I didn't see measuring spoons or cups. Bed and couch (just sat on) were comfy. Were able to park SUV off st.

Cute, spacious, clean, and close to the plaza!
This place was very homey and decorated really nice. It was super clean, the beds were comfy, and it was perfect walking distance to all things Arcata. I’d love to stay here again.
