Quebec Spa Vacations

We where staying one night so we didnt use the hotel to its fullest The restaurant was closed on Sunday Our room was spacious and clean and most of all the bed was comfortable The front desk was very helpful

Beautiful spot. Loved the fire pit behind our room, pool and spa looked great but didn’t get a chance to use it. The only issue was that the sliding door lock in our room was broken. There was a block stick to put in the door but it was slightly too short and made me fret a tiny bit and the buffet breakfast was cold and a little confusing as to how it worked / where it was but overall it was great. The restaurant menu looked delicious and very fancy food but reasonably priced. We didn’t get to eat there aside from breakfast though.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The resort is beautiful and relaxing, but the pricing feels more in line with a 5-star luxury property, while the overall experience is closer to a solid 3.5–4 stars. The room was comfortable and well equipped for a short getaway, with a mini fridge and a private balcony overlooking the lake. The lake view is absolutely worth the extra cost. Our only issue was that the balcony hadn't been cleaned before our arrival, but housekeeping responded quickly after we notified reception. The bed and shower were both excellent. One thing to note: the TV isn't a smart TV, so bring an Amazon Fire Stick or similar device if you plan on streaming before bed. The outdoor pool, jaccuzis, steam room, and sauna were all enjoyable, although the pool and jaccuzis could have been a bit cleaner. The outdoor bar was a nice addition and served great cocktails. The $10 daily locker rental for the spa area also felt a bit odd considering the nightly rates. I'd also skip the $45 valet service. You can unload your luggage at the entrance and park for free just across the street—it's less than a one-minute walk. The highlight of our stay was Le Voilier. The lakeside setting is beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. The salmon was one of the best I've ever had. Definitely make a reservation in advance.

Everything was above expectations except the one day they shut the whole hotel and spa down for a scheduled electrical upgrade by Quebec hydro and repaired ( shut down) the most popular large pool. Notice was not given at the time of booking only by email the week of, and pamphlets at concierge. Loss of the room , phone/ laptop chargers, the restaurant and spa lost. Two spa coupons were provided I recommend you require hotels to post when they are having scheduled maintenance and like rental units, warnings in advance under each door. Otherwise five stars!
