Vancouver Coast Pet-friendly Vacations

Our only issue was arriving via the Skytrain from the Airport on Canada Day and two days before the World Cup match….and that’s not going to be a problem for at least 4 more years.

Love how close it is to everything and yet just off for quiet

After being disappointed with another hotel we moved to the Opus. The staff were fantastic, especially Kaveh. When we shared that we had a poor experience elsewhere he offered to show us a room so we could see the layout, cleanliness, and overall condition of the room. While we worked on trying to cancel our existing reservation, he offered us each a glass of local sparkling rose (surprisingly good btw) to help us relax and feel more welcome in Vancouver. Kaveh continued to check in w us and welcome us back every time we entered the lobby. The other staff were also very friendly and engaging. I’m recommending The Opus to any friend who travel to Vancouver and will stay there my next trip to Vancouver.

The property was lovely. Well maintained inside and well manicured outside I was a little taken aback to realize they entered the room when we were out for dinner to do a tidy up and what I think they thought was a turn down service. I guess I should have read the fine print but I found it a little creepy to be honest

We were there for 7 nights but they just stopped servicing our room after the third night. We made sure the privacy sign was not enabled. We don’t go through towels quickly so we were able to stretch it, but it would have been nice if they had made up the room daily.

Davie Street is a very busy place. Lots of people and cars. If you get a room high up you don’t hear the street action. Nice to have an apartment so you can do your own meals but some great restaurants nearby.
