Card didn’t work twice but apart from that, everything was great

The breakfast was a little disappointing. A big standard hilton-esque buffet. The last time I stayed here the cooked breakfast was made to order so this is a disappointing direction. The room was clean and the hotel is lovely, interesting and quirky

Clean room and really close to Anfield stadium

We enjoy staying at the hotel, staff are great. What let this particular stay down was the location of the room & that it backed onto what was the worst view possible. We knew hotel was full so would be hard to change room. Other details such as a wardrobe with sliding door & two hanging spaces but hangers only in one that could not be moved. We would return but would request not to be located in that area again.

Fantastic place! The grounds are amazing! We stayed for 2 nights our wedding anniversary in the Gingerbread House. Wonderful! Very spacious and lovely bed! Power shower too! The food here is also amazing as are the staff. Can't do enough for you. Will definitely go again and can't recommend enough!

Older charming rooms.. Plumbing was very old and not up to standards.. The carpets were very dirty!!! The food was good . The staff were Amazing!!!!!

Hotel couldn't be better located for central Manchester. It was a 20 min walk from the station but plenty of options for cab, bus or tram there. We were able to check in early and the apartment was well appointed and spacious. Absolutely loved the fact the towels were decent sizes and there was plenty of crockery/glassware in the kitchen. Bed was comfortable with lots of hanging space and spare pillows/blanket. Staff were friendly and we were checked in promptly. Nespresso machine in the room and although we has breakfast included, we didn't end up utilising - great that there is both a cafe and restaurant downstairs though. Only negative was the carpet felt grubby and very tired looking. Didn't feel or look particularly clean in the bedrooms.

Great spot. Very quiet. Suggest you find it in daylight hours as it’s a bit tricky. Super friendly staff. Cooked breakfast would improve it.

Everything we needed for a weekend stay in South Manchester, ideal for our concert at Wythenshawe park. Extremely comfy beds! Helpful owners and free onsite parking. Would recommend

If you have a car ensure you know how to get out of the garage (tip it’s a white button next to the door)

We stayed at the Townhouse Hotel for Manchester Pride. It's really well located just a couple of minutes from Canal Street and staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 5th floor and a good size. Wifi was excellent in our room and no issues with video calls for meetings. The bathroom had a bath which is unusual these days. There was a laptop sized safe. The price was good. There were some of negatives. Our room had an adjoining door and the people on the other side were LOUD at 5am; if you're a light sleeper I would make sure your room doesn't have an adjoining door as the noise travels through. The toilet flush was terrible. The shower attachment you'd expect to have seen in a 1980s bathroom. The room could have done with more lighting. The room wasn't thoroughly cleaned between guests (a layer of dust on the coffee tray was a give away). Despite the negatives, I'd probably stay there again based on price and location. There is a lot of competition in the area and the hotel has the opportunity to make some minor tweaks that would go a long way.
