Having stayed at the Hotel over the years we were aware,this time that the dining arrangements are now so expensive as to make one of the restaurants not somewhere we would wish to eat . Other than that the hotel is still somewhere we would happily recommend for position, comfort and the amazing staff

The Old Course Hotel is, without question, one of the finest hotels in all of Great Britain and an absolute must-visit for any golf lover. The location alone is iconic, but the entire experience lives up to it. You have to go! Everything about the hotel feels exquisite and high-end, from the rooms and common areas to the service and overall attention to detail. The staff were excellent throughout our stay...professional, welcoming, and always helpful. Two thumbs up. The food was also superb. Every meal we had was beautifully prepared and added to the overall experience. Staying here feels like much more than just visiting a hotel; it’s part of the St Andrews experience itself. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and can’t wait to return, hopefully next time with my entire family.

Great service. Lovely hotel. Area round our room was in the process of being decorated so didn't look very nice (room 62). Also bathroom was rather mouldy. Plates at breakfast we're cold and scrambled egg was awful but food in the Brasserie was very good. Overall a good stay.
