Spring has sprung and the wildflowers are blooming! Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Accommodates a maximum of 2 adult guests only. Not suitable or safe for children. No pets allowed. A perfect place to relax and unwind after exploring Sequoia National Park. Private, peaceful and quiet location nestled on the top of a mountain on a one acre parcel located less than 1 mile to Sequoia National Park. The Ash Mountain Suite is one of two private Suites available at the Rose Retreat. The Red Mountain Suite is adjacent and also available for booking. Spectacular views of Ash Peak and Red Mountain. BBQ, picnic and meadow area to enjoy. We live close by and available if needed. The Rose Retreat is located on a beautiful, private and quiet one acre mountain lot. Being located less than 1 mile to the gate of the famous Sequoia National Park makes us one of the closest properties available in Three Rivers! The space is a newly built (2022) custom property with two private modern Suites (Ash Mountain Suite and Red Mountain Suite). The Ash Mountain Suite is very spacious (450 sq feet) with amazing mountain views! The Suite has a queen bed, private shower, toilet and dressing area as well as a dining table, electric fireplace and Roku TV. Also, the Suite has a kitchenette with a wet bar, mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, teapot, dishes and utensils. NOTE: We do not have an oven/stove. We provide complementary coffee, tea and a snack basket with oatmeal, popcorn, healthy snack packs, protein bars, chocolates & bottled water. A perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature with magnificent views of Ash Peak and Red Mountain. Also, our location is wonderful for bird watching during the day and stargazing at night. We have a propane BBQ grill with two picnic areas as well as a meadow to enjoy. We are located in the quaint, artistic mountain town of Three Rivers. There are many restaurants, shops and activities to explore. The top rated Gateway Restaurant is a local favorite and located ¼ mile away. Breathtaking river views, delicious food, full bar and open 365 days a year serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, The Totem Market is less than 1 mile away. The Totem is a small market with casual food, deli, BBQ, beer, wine & supplies. Perfect location to pick up goodies for your picnic basket! Both The Gateway and The Totem Market rent chains if needed. We offer our guests convenient and private self check in. You can check yourself in using the keypad. Your personal 4 digit keypad code will be sent to you 5 days prior to your check in date. Check in time is 3:00pm. The Suite is often ready earlier and we are happy to offer an early check in when available. We have safe and secure parking available on the property. The Suite includes one designated parking space. We can accommodate a second car next door upon request. Please inquire if needed. Wi-Fi and phone reception can be spotty in the Sequoia National Park area. We are thrilled to have Spectrum high speed internet on our property. Phone reception is excellent when you turn on “wi-fi calling” on your cell phone. Our guests have access to all areas of the property. The Suite has an outdoor table & chairs on the patio plus we have two picnic areas with picnic tables and a propane BBQ grill available to use. We do not live on the property but live close by and are available if you need anything! We respect the privacy of our guests. Three Rivers is a very unique, charming and creative Sierra Nevada foothill village located half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Three Rivers is the gateway town for the Ash Mountain Entrance to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park home of the largest living things on earth, the Giant Sequoia trees! We are grateful to live in this lovely town and host an amazing, beautiful and unique property located less than 1 mile to the Park Entrance. Our property is an adult property with maximum guest capacity of two adult guests per Suite. We love to offer our guests a quiet, peaceful and nature induced experience. Everything is sparkling clean to the extreme, looked like we were the first guests. Everything in the unit matches the hosts pictures to a tee. Owners Lori and John are wonderful and helpful should you need anything. They provide many treats like gourmet nuts and snacks, coffee and more. The location on top of a hill provides majestic views of the Sierra Mountains and is less than a mile to the Park Gate. I have attached a pic of my wife relaxing on the picnic table overlooking the mountains. We can recommend this property without reservation. The property is beautiful inside and out. Everything is well maintained. The room was spacious but very welcoming. The room was beautifully decorated. The outside property was so peaceful. There were several bird feeders that were quite active. We enjoyed just being outside relaxing. The night sky was gorgeous without all of the lighting that you find in the city. Unfortunately I lost a ring while staying here. They found my ring and are mailing it back to me, which I greatly appreciate. The hosts, Lori and John, were great. They were very accommodating. The room had a Keurig with an assortment of coffee and tea. There were also snacks provided. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and hated leaving. We highly recommend this property. It's just outside the gate to Sequoia National Park. There are markets and restaurants nearby. The accommodations are great. Accommodation was perfect; comfortable bed, super handy kitchenette facilities, lovely fluffy towels and decent AC. Quiet location super close to the park entrance, and just a very short drive from Three Rivers. Everything was as described and Lori was a fantastic host providing plenty info about the property and area for us. Should we be back to Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks I’ve no doubt that we would stay here again! ##### Fiona G. We travelled from the UK so this was very helpful and appreciated. Great directions and local tips for the area. The place was very pretty both inside and out. The hosts were very helpful with things like restaurant recommendations and very clear directions to the address, which was great as the gps has no service there. My husband and I stayed at the Ash Mountain Suite over President's Day weekend. It was perfect.Communication with the host was easy. She would respond within minutes of me sending a message. The location is perfect, less than 2 miles from the park entrance. The room itself is charming. First, the place is spotless. Not a speck of dust anywhere. The bed is over the top comfortable. The electric fireplace is beautiful and puts out quite a bit of heat on its own. And, there are so many thoughtful little touches. The towels are super luxe. They leave plenty of coffee, tea, granola bars, oatmeal, chocolates, etc. I cannot say enough good things about this place or the hosts. We already can't wait to go back!
