Wine Country Redwood Estate in the Heart of Wine Country

A very Private and Quiet 5 bedroom 2 Full Bath and 2 Half Bath home nested in the redwoods in Santa Rosa in the center of the Wine Country. Open beam ceilings, 3 fire places, 1500 sq feet redwood deck, Private circular drive, large hot tub and Fire Pit. Outdoor and indoor seating. The property has many lovely paths and outdoor benches to relax on. The inside of the house has Oak Trim everywhere, is soundproof and has a solarium facing south.

This Estate is Sea Ranch style with high ceiling and many skylights to view the dense surrounding redwoods. The main floor has 5 bedrooms. The city will allow 10 adult guests to sleep overnight and no more than 5 day time guests. It is decorated with Midcentury modern furniture and displays many images and maps from the surrounding areas. The spacious 3 level deck has plush sofas, a hammock, chairs and two dining tables. It has 5 bedrooms, 8 beds and 4 bathrooms on the main floor of the house. It has a large hot tub in the garden for 6, a fire pit for 10, and gas burning range. The grounds are magnificent and the home has every possible amenity. You will enjoy the high quality linens, wine glasses and wine supplies and a complete kitchen.

The city of Santa Rosa has set a limit of 10 guests per house (over age 3) and there can be no more than 5 guests visiting these 10 at any one time. The car limit on the property is set at 5 cars by the city for overnight.

The City has a quiet period after 9PM until 8 AM. After 9 PM we would like you to move your group indoors as to not to disturb the surrounding properties. Out door music or any amplified sound is not allowed. We recommend earphones should you wish to listen to music outside on the property. Fire Pit hours are from dusk to 9PM. You should leave the fire pit are prior to that. Never Leave the Fire Pit Unattended! Use of the Spa after 9PM should be done without anything other than very very soft talking since bedrooms face the spa on the property behind it. If you have pets please do not let them on the furniture and beds. Removing pet hair from our high end white sheets is difficult.

The property is beautiful and we would like to continue to offer it to those guest who are able to comply with city requests.

The city can impose fines if these rules are broken.

We had our annual girls' trip at Wine Country Redwood Estate and it was perfect for us. The house is located in a beautiful, upscale community. Close to shopping but feels like you're secluded in the country. The grounds are beautiful with lots of outdoor gathering areas. Inside, we had multiple gathering areas for social time. Yet we all had our own private rooms. What the house lacks in upgrades, the host more than makes up for it with amenities. There is everything you would need there, thoughtful touches throughout the house. I recommend you check in to the house before you shop for food-- we were surprised by how much the house was stocked. The welcome gifts were bountiful and so thoughtful! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The house was spacious and being in the hot tub among the redwoods was magical. Thank you for the wines and accompanying cheeses, crackers, and so much more. We enjoyed them all and I have lasting memories of my 60th birthday celebration. Wanted to give feedback that we found the microwave hard to operate and could have used instructions and the dishwasher didn't properly clean the dishes and so we handwashed them. We could not find trash can liners after taking out the trash out in order to re line the bins. Again, thank you for a wonderful weekend and for sharing this beautiful estate.

The house was perfect for our wine region weekend friends gathering. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of indoor and outdoor space for a group to relax and enjoy the amenities. The manager treated us to a generous assortment of treats - wines, cheeses, fruit and snacks, and supplied all helpful pantry items. The property could benefit from an update in the TV setup, but was otherwise a great place to stay.

We had such a wonderful time at this home! We were having a girls trip in wine country and this house was the perfect home base for a weekend of wine tasting. A beautiful gift basket of goodies and wine welcomed us and we loved how much space there was for our group of 6. The backyard is magical and the hot tub was great. The host was always very responsive and a great communicator. Would definitely stay here again, only next time we’ll book a few extra days!

This property was perfect for us. We had a family reunion. Our family is spread out over Colorado, So. Cal, Mid Cal and Oregon. This property allowed us to live together again and enjoy our time together, visit vocal wineries & a swim pond for the kids and young adults. There is a hot tub that was used daily, plus a beautiful patio with a fire pit & BBQ. It was perfect for our family.

Reunion weekend!

We had such a wonderful time in this home! The hosts were so thoughtful with all the amenities. The house had everything we needed and our group of 10 loved it. The house was in a lovely location and easy to access wineries. The hosts left us a wonderful selection of wine, beer and a delightful spread of goodies. I will definitely recommend this property!

Wonderful Family Time

The house is large with many well appointed rooms so there is plenty for everyone to do either together or alone. The sound system was very good on one end of the house, the Library had a fireplace, tv , plenty of games and a large table for gathering. The landscaping, fire pit and hot tub were fun gathering areas. Great for larger numbers of guests.

Relaxing getaway!

Enjoyable, cozy, nature home. Lots of space to socialize and enjoy time with friends. Above and beyond host and amenities, with personal touches. Comfortable beds. This house is huge and the outdoor space was beautiful and it was the perfect location for a group! Harry was very helpful with the check in process and left us very yummy and local snacks, cheese and wine!

Best experience we have had at a VRBO

Top-notch vacation rental experience, wonderful property and host This was possibly the best vacation rental I've experienced. While the interior is dated, it is all incredibly well kept-up and clean; and it quickly felt cozy, warm, and easy to enjoy all corners of this rental's interior. We had a group of 8, 6 of whom were couples, and there was never a moment when it felt crowded inside. On top of the interior feeling quite comfortable from a perspective of layout and cleanliness the lighting and signage was exceptional. Everything is labeled. On top of that most of the general area lighting is on motion sensors. There was never any fumbling for light switches or which drawer or cabinet the item we wanted was behind. It is clear the host has gone through a great deal of thought and effort to make this property especially easy for visitors to use. And finally there's the backyard. I don't want to oversell it but for once I think the real life experience exceeds what the photos portray. It is clear that both the landscape architect and the contractor who produced this decking made exceptional effort to maintain every inch of natural space possible while creating an expansive, comfortable deck area for us to truly chill out in. I would rent here again just to spend more time in the backyard. 10/10 Amazing experience

Nice wine country retreat

Loved our stay. The place was spacious, clean, and welcoming. Very kind for the host to have some welcome wine and cheese. Close to main areas of Santa Rosa but feels like you're in the redwood forest.
