"Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I was happy to be there at the same time as the founder, and he was gracious and kind, offering to lead meditation in the morning. Of the beaten bath and down to earth, this is a great place to stay if you like a "

Exceeding Expectations at Hale Aloha Kaloli~Air Conditioning Throughout the Home

"Would definitely stay again. Wonderful, quiet property. Well stocked kitchen with all items in good repair. Drinks, eggs, water, pancakes, butter, salt/pepper and other condiments when I was there. I'm sure the selection varies."

"This was a wonderful small cottage that provided what we needed for our stay. We did run into a few issues with fire ants out on the patio table but you have to expect that in such a nature filled environment. The beach accessories were fantastic to have available. Not much air movement outside so some outside fans would be very helpful on hot days! We would definitely stay here again! "
"We loved our stay at this VRBO! The hosts were quick to address our few questions/concerns. The home was renovated very nicely, had amazing A/C, and was a great gathering place in the evenings for our two families. It is a stones throw from Hilo or Volcano National Park, which was great since Kilauea erupted while we were there. The close stay made it possible for us to get to the park quickly and avoid the long wait to get into the park for those who had to drive. We will gladly stay here again!"
Comfy 2-bedroom 1-bath, in Kea'au near Hilo, WiFi and food forest
10/10 Excellent
"As a writer retreat, which is why we were staying, this place was almost perfect. The host was fantastic, very welcoming and working to make sure our stay was as good as possible. Having stayed in many places across the Big Island, this was very representative of a higher quality place, especially for the price. For a couple, it was perfect. There is a queen and a bunk double bed, so you could sleep six. I think for a small family it would also be great, but four adults might find themselves a little cramped, and three couples would be very tight in the lounge. The flat sits in the top floor of the house, but we heard nothing of the ground floor, and the house is very well protected from the surroundings, so we felt both very secure and private. It was our first time staying in Paradise Park, and the location worked well for us. The local area was actually better served than I worried it might be, with cafes, delis, bakerys and supermarkets within fifteen minutes drive. The drive to Hilo was not as frustrating as I feared it might be, we would drive to the beach every day - but during rush hour, the traffic was pretty terrible. Of course, that's reflected in the price, and for us it was definitely worth it. The extra 20 minutes to Saddle Road did make the drive over to Kona more imposing, and I think if we'd stayed in Hilo town, we might have headed out that way - but it was very well located for the volcano. Absolutely would stay here again and would highly recommend."

Kids loved the farm atmosphere with chickens, sheep, goats, and lots of lizards. They were so thoughtful as to notify us of the volcano eruption happening and we were lucky enough to catch this event!"
