"We are very happy and grateful that we were able to check in much earlier than the scheduled time of 3:00pm. We also appreciated that breakfast was included in the stay. We stayed in a suite on the top floor of the Trail. Hotels.com asked us a few days before our stay if we would prefer to upgrade, and it was a good decision to do so. The Trail suite is a very private unit with two separate rooms, making it easy to use. Please note that there is no elevator and the only access is by stairs. There were two things that could be improved: there was no water supply to the bathtub, which was a wonderful addition, and one of the windows was left open when we entered the room because the handle for the rotating rod that opens the window had broken and been lost. Overall it was a great stay. The location, the cleanliness of the room, and the interior with attention to detail. We will definitely stay at the Larks Hotel again. "

"We had a very large room. Staff was extremely friendly and struck up conversation beyond conducting business. A great value and a property in which the owners are investing. "

Outdoor furniture is spread throughout the large backyard along the river, where we spent time enjoying our morning coffee and relaxing after hiking. We also enjoyed the live Irish music on Thursday evening. The Stowe Recreation Path is within a short distance (0.25 mi)."
