This is an older resort but well maintained. It is also smaller which we loved. The beach is amazing. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome.

The staff was very friendly, and the property was kept very clean. The staff came around often to check on us. I would’ve give a 5/5 but the food was not great. They did have a lot of options but food was not the priority. Other than that the property was amazing and I would’ve give definitely go back

The staff and employees were amazing. But food was awful. Even the specialty dinners. Only got two scheduled for a 7 night stay. Hot water was in and out. Had 4 out 8 days with hot water. Property is freshly painted, but very dated and had a bunch of areas with black top covering old foundations. Nothing like pics on Expedia. Very mis-leading.

Love the beach. Lifeguard staff were actively training for rescues while we were there. Pools well kept but property along kids Waterpark area had trash along bushes. ( a used diaper was in bush by pool area whole time we were there. Maintenance were actively painting, trimming bushes, spraying for mosquitoes and trimming trees to better property. Be sure to bring bug spray if coming in October. Staff friendly and helpful.

The best part about this resort was the beach! It was beautiful, big, clean with lots of chairs and shady spaces under palm trees. We loved our room (it was always cleaned nicely) the staff was friendly, the pools and nightly entertainment were great. If you’re a foodie, this isn’t the place for you. I’m quite picky and didn’t love the food but they did have a lot of options - it just wasn’t what I was hoping for!

Positive: Staff is helpful and friendly, rooms are clean. Location is ideal for boat pickups to go diving BUT Negative: Second year in a row that I get food poisoning from their buffet, which really ruins a vacation. I will not going back or try another all-inclusive, it's just too risky. The other thing I found particularly irritating is the "dock fee" that you "have to pay" (cash, no receipt of course) when a dive boat other than their Pro Dive boat picks you up. It's not the 100 pesos (roughly US $5) per day, it's the principle. I didn't see them charge tourists boarding a snorkelers' boat. Won't be coming back.

We loved everything about Allegro Cozumel. The beauty, cleanliness, amazing staff, soft beds, comfy pillows, excellent food, great pools, great swim up bar, beautiful ocean right on the premises, you walk right into the ocean. Clear ocean, you can see fish and your toes in the clear water. The staff are wonderful, they have fun activities going on all day. I cannot say enough about Allegro, except, our family of 11 cannot wait to go back. Thank you so much for the perfect experience!!!!!!
