The resort itself is beautiful and extremely well maintained. One thing that stood out to me was how often staff were cleaning and maintaining the property throughout the day. Everywhere we went—from the walkways to the restaurants and pool areas—everything felt very clean and well cared for. We stayed in a swim-out room, which was definitely a highlight of our trip. Having direct access to the water right from our room made the stay feel relaxing and private, and it added a luxury touch that we really enjoyed. The food was excellent, which is something that can be hit or miss at all-inclusive resorts, but that wasn’t the case here. Every meal we had was flavorful and well prepared. The service was also fantastic—staff members were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. The beach area was beautiful, with clear water and a relaxing atmosphere. It was a great place to unwind during the day. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to experience much of the nightly entertainment because our evenings tended to end early. The only downsize is we were not aware there would be no liquor in the room nor would there be an up charge for top shelf liquor at the bars. Other than that Princess Mangrove nice! They completely skipped our room on a couple occasions even though we had the tag on handle to “makeup room”. Housekeeping could’ve been a little more friendly. They had an angry attitude about tidying up our room even though we are kind and outgoing. Even as you passed them walking out of your room they were pissed off. Save your time withe the Krystal specialty restaurant. Food was terribly overcooked and the filet wasn’t a filet. Who knows what it was but it wasn’t a filet. Totally inedible!! We stuck with the buffet which always had delicious, fresh food. A special shout out to the entire front desk, lifeguard and bartending staff though who were extremely friendly and hospitable. Such a great group of people. Made me and my family feel welcome and helped answer any questions we had. Overall I’d give the property a 4 out of 5 stars and we would go back. Staff was very friendly and the food overall was very very good. We got the signature level and the resort only has 2 bars that offer premium liquor, 1 at the signature pool which closes at 6 and the other where you do the check in/out and they close at 11pm. Our room was cozy and we had a beautiful view of the ocean, my only complaint about the room is that you can hear everything. You can hear what is going on upstairs, people walking by outside, and the transportation carts. It’s a pretty good resort and has its pros and cons, but we would probably not go back. And be careful because they are real hard on getting you to go to the breakfast where they try to sway you into buying a membership with the hotel. It took us 4.5 hours of our day.
