"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast at the Keg was very good. Older hotel with no fans in the bathrooms, and despite renovations showing its age in places. Free 3 day bus pass to get around Banff an excellent freebie."
Banff Park Lodge

"Check in was quick and easy with helpful staff. The room was very big and spacious and was quiet. The only issue with the room was the pillows were not the best and were quite flat and unsupportive. The onsite pool was very nice too. They had a restaurant onsite which we didn't try but good to know was there. They are also doing renovation work currently (which didn't disturb us) but they are building a new cafe too which will be a nice addition to the site."

"Great location, friendly and helpful staff. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking. It was quiet. The room (we had a King Suite) was very spacious and comfortable. Having a Chili's Restaurant in the hotel was very convenient as we ate there a couple of times. Would stay there again."

"This was our second stay at the Canalta Lodge, and we were just as pleased the second time as the first. The property and room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was great, and we loved the ease of the parking for this lodge. Definitely recommend the Canalta Lodge!"

"Great hotel right on the main road into Banff. It is on the far end of the strip but still a nice walk to get through the downtown area.. enjoyed the spa area in the hotel after our long hikes"
