This is a classy historic Mexican hotel in the heart of PV. I love the old feel, the vibes, and the location which was central to everything. The staff were amazing, and most helpful to your needs. Being central to so much there are some noise issues which is part of being in vibrant and beautiful Mexico.

The staff made me feel fantastic and made my birthday weekend fun. The waitstaff at the pool and the bistro were great. The massage, mud wrap, and facial I received were just what I needed. The property was beautiful. I’ll definitely go back.

Property was clean. Very basic room. Upgrade to ocean front/view for sure. Front desk staff and male security kind. The female security guard was intrusive and did not appear to like people. There is a long lost of rules once you check in. Absolutely no eating any food or beverages of any kind on the hotel premises only in your room unless you purchase food or beverages from them then you can. You can't even sit in lobby...and the female security will threaten police. THIS made me feel unwelcome and I will never book again. Zero fun here way too intrusive. Better to go elsewhere.

We were greatly impressed with the friendly service of all the staff at Villa La Estancia. The restaurants had delicious food plated so perfectly along with outstanding servers. I highly recommend the steak tenderloin at La Casona as well as the shrimp enchiladas at El Patron at the sister resort Villa Del Palmar. The pool service was amazing…Jésus and his team were very friendly and quick to make sure our seats had towels and that we had what we wanted whether that be shade or sun, a pool or ocean view. The bartenders at the swim up bar were friendly and willingly accommodated special requests…the food servers work so hard and were always ready to take a drink or food order and to deliver it quickly. Our rooms were always cleaned well and they have such a nice touch by providing a turn down service around five or six o’clock when they also refresh the bathroom with towels. We also really enjoyed the opportunity to play pickleball. We would highly recommend this resort as we feel you get high quality service staying here. We think the price is worth the value of what you experience here.

Enjoyed how quiet the resort was. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate and felt like home. There was one particular person who made our trip exceptional. Alonso, who sits in a booth outside the resort, went out of his way to get me some distilled water for my CPAP. He drove back to his home town and picked some up for me as we could not find any in the stores nearby. Thanks Alonso, you won't believe how much that meant to us. We did notice that on certain days some restaurants were not open, the brochure said the Japanese place is open on certain days, but the International was closed one evening and the Mexican place was closed another evening leaving a very limited selection. Most days there were no beach chairs available. At check in they clearly say that you can't save chair, yet every morning you would see people out throwing towels on chairs and then leaving. Also, I understand that it is a members resort, however the so called 75 minute presentation was 3hrs. Not to mention the push by sales people to make you become a member was revolting. They say no obligation, but they passed us through five different sales people to try to get a sale. We asked for a copy of the Terms and conditions, but they would not provide it to us unless we put down $1000.00. What company runs this way. Immediately a red flag was raised, what are they hiding. The more they pushed the angrier I got, especially since it took our entire morning.
