Used to stay at The Hilton and decided to try something new, The food is terrible. The Mexican restaurant is a buffet. The buffet food is cold. The Italian restaurant is okay but limited menu. You can't take a drink glass back to your room. People would hide their beach towels, going to their room, and then take all the good seats before the towel office opened. They advertise free wifi.
Well, it's not in the rooms, it's in a very limited area of the lobby and it is poor quality at best. They should have stated available in public area only, like other hotels. On our second to the last night, we went off site for dinner, and came back to find security in our room taking pictures of all of our electronics. Their explanation was we were supposed to put it all in the tiny safe, which would not hold 1/2 of them. The facility is great, and the staff friendly, but Hyatt has a lot of work on this one, since they took it over in October. I know the manager will give their typical "copy and paste" response to this and nothing will be done, but be aware.
