Host Cancelled day of arrival!!
Host claimed they double booked the flat and cancelled my stay the day of arrival in DC!! Very few hotel options remaining - luckily VRBO was quick to book me into a hotel (for one day) after several hours and refunded me the stay. But the inconvenience of having no place to stay during a very busy week in DC is bad!! 1 star

Nice stay
It’s a nice, clean unit that’s close to restaurants, a Whole Foods, a Metro stop, coffee shops, and shopping. The free parking is a huge bonus. I had read that the checkin process was difficult, and I would agree, though maybe more inconvenient than difficult, as we had to park, go find a lockbox to get the key, go to the unit to retrieve the parking pass and garage opener, then return to our car to finally park and unload. I feel like the unit should be listed as an efficiency apartment rather than a one bedroom, as there is no separation between the bed and the living space. The sleeper couch is right at the foot of the bed. The listing and pictures lead you to believe otherwise. All in all we had a very nice stay. The kitchen is adequately equipped. I made breakfast every morning and good dinners several nights. We would definitely recommend this unit for a couple to get away to DC.

Oh well.
We didn't actually stay at the property. The owner was nice and cordial, but the check-in process was way too complicated (she sent a PDF in a text that had FOUR Vimeos to watch.) It was rainy and dark (not the owner's fault) and the check-in took us way too long and included calling her once. Sadly the owner's cleaners had neglected to clean the apartment, so we couldn't stay there. The good news is the owner understood and approved a full refund.

Wonderful location to travel into DC!
It couldn't have been a better location for us. This was our first trip to DC, so it was great having the secure parking and being close to the highway. The studio was comfortable and clean. It is 2 blocks from Whole Foods and there's an amazing coffee/doughnut/breakfast shop across the street (wish we would've hit it more).

Check in process NOT smooth!
It was a chaotic process to chuck in. I was sent wrong information... twice. Then when i finally got to the correct property, the key lock box was covered in bird droppings. Overall unit was very clean and orderly, but check in kinda ruined it for me. Won't use this property manager again when in DC.

Bed very uncomfortable
Bed is very uncomfortable… my husband felt like he was going to fall off side of bed when trying to lay down. Neither one of slept well at all. Location is ok but beware there is a lot of construction right now.

Clean and convenient
The place is clean and convenient to all to do in dc. We were able to take the metro or drive. It’s in walking distance to the memorial at the pentagon. It was a very nice place. There’s a whole foods across the street. I highly recommend anyone to stay.
