I will start by saying the staff at both check in and check out were friendly, efficient and helpful. The counter in the front lobby was definitely too high for them to see over and for me to speak with them. The staff working in the breakfast buffet were very nice, knew their job, and offered a variety of breakfast food. But the rooms were ready for a redo 15 years ago!! The drapes didn’t close all the way and there appeared to be a grease stain of some sort on the valance. The metal parts of the lamps were pitted/rusted and the shades were damaged and or soiled. The wood furniture was all banged up. The room had a small kitchenette with the counter surrounding the sink severely stained and damaged. The cleaning staff were excellent in asking if I needed anything as I stayed 4 nights. Very friendly. Dogs are allowed to stay and there were two within my room area as both were barking which surprised me. The computer area was front and center at the front desk which was helpful for use. From what I saw, the staff did the very best to accommodate me. I did book Expedia for the first three days and paid Comfort Inn for the fourth day. Management/Owners needs to work a system to update the rooms and hallways so the staff can be proud to do their job to the best of their ability.
