Amazing views from HUGE windows. Traveling with a teen, having a mostly-private sofa couch suite was essential. Very helpful staff! The attached Italian restaurant/bar was delicious, and open quite late for the neighbourhood (which was a godsend at check-in.
We loved the large bathroom with a full sized tub (although the shampoo and conditioner are bolted to the wall of the shower, so not accessible from the tub). My only other downside was that parking (valet) was more expensive than I anticipated.

I'll be honest, I chose The Burrand because it was the cheapest thing I could find for a one-night stay before a cruise. It is in a very convenient location and it is neat and clean, no frills. But it was an old motor lodge so the rooms, lobby and elevator are small. The doors open to the outdoors to an enclosed courtyard with parking below.
