Some new improvements to Oak Street include turning the jack and jill bath on the third floor into 2 full baths, relocating the laundry room to the second floor, expanding the deck off of the living room, and finishing the garage into a second living space. Some pictures are included. We hope that you all enjoy the new improvements!

Park your car and walk or bike to everything on the island! Our home borders the King & Prince Hotel property, so the location cannot be beat. The beach is a short two minute/one block walk from the front door. Or turn the other direction and in less than 2 minutes you have five fantastic restaurants at your disposal -the Crab Trap, Crab Daddies, the Beachcomber, Barrier Island Brewing, and Fiddlers. You can also pop into the Still for your beverage needs. Not to mention Ocean Motion for all of your kayaking, beach and biking needs. The King & Prince also offers oceanfront dining and a nice lounge for cocktails and appetizers.

Our home is a townhome situated on three levels. The first level contains a living room with a smart TV and a bedroom with a queen bed and full bath, which has access to a patio that is gated - a perfect spot to store beach equipment and bikes and rinse off the sand from the beach.

The second level is completely open and perfect for socializing. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen, half bath, laundry area, living area with a Smart TV, and a sizeable deck with a settee, a table and chairs, grill, and stairs that lead down to the patio. The deck is partially covered and shaded, which is a nice relief from the Georgia heat.

The third floor has two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, each with a vanity, toilet and shower. The back bedroom on this floor has a king size bed, TV, and a covered deck outdoor seating, perfect for reading and relaxing in the shade or enjoying a beverage, away from the main living area. The front bedroom has a queen size bed.

We love coming to St. Simons with our family and we hope your will enjoy our home as much as we do. Please call or email with any questions!

Note: This property is NOT part of the King & Prince, so there is not access to their pool. However, our public beach access runs through their property and is fully accessible to anyone. There is a beautiful public pool by the lighthouse with a huge kids area if you are interested in a pool day as opposed to a beach day.

Ideal Location

We just wrapped up our stay here for the 5th year in a row. We continue to return because you can’t beat the location. It is a well furnished and equipped home, and accommodates our family of 5 perfectly. The recent renovations are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! We especially like being able to walk almost anywhere we want to go. Gets better every year!

This was our 5th year staying here and it just gets better and better every year. Not only is it close to the beach, it is within walking distance to several restaurants, small store, and a bike shop. The house has several floors, which means you get loads privacy. It isn't just a beach house, it feels like a warm and inviting home with beautiful and recent updates. We had several guests during our stay and each one raved about the location and comfort here. Thanks again for sharing this great place! See you next year!!!!!

Nice clean property.. excellent location. Our only concern is the property doesn't exactly fit the description. It is advertised as a 3 bedroom 2 & 1/2 bath. At the last minute we invited another couple to join us but fortunately they could not join us as both main level bedrooms are joined by a jack and Jill bath... one shower and one toilet. The third bedroom was not available and also did not have a bath.

Close proximity to restaurants and the beach

The kitchen was very well stocked indeed and the location was wonderful. The biggest downside for two of three of us adults who are asthmatics was due to the lack of cross ventilation, the property was quite musty smelling. A deep cleaning or removal of the carpeting may be the only mitigation. Noticed a lot of dust in certain areas (window sills especially). One overnight during our 9 night stay was loud music until 3 am, but the location could not be determined. Other than that night, it was a peaceful stay.

A Week in Paradise

The weather was nearly perfect during our week-long stay on St Simon's Island. Highs in the upper 60s to low 80s, sunshine every day, very low humidity. It was a little slice of heaven! The location of the condo is superb---just a block from the beach. The neighborhood is very quiet, and access to all parts of the village either on foot or by bike was very easy. We enjoyed the accommodations, and the kitchen was particularly well-equipped and spacious. Like many houses close to the beach, there are a lot of stairs, and we decided that it made for a great cardiovascular workout! Central air on each floor made for a very comfortable home. Bike rental less than a block away was reasonable, but it would have been nice to have bikes on site like other nearby condos.

LOCATION UNRIVALED

Highest recommendation for this superb home on SSI! The location is unrivaled. Easy walk to great restaurants like Crabdaddy’s and Fiddler’s. Even easier stroll right to the ocean’s edge on the best beach of SSI- directly in front of luxury hotel King and Prince, whose property is adjacent to this lovely home. Nice two mile walk on the beach to Pier Village with great coffee and shopping. You can easily bike all over the island from here. My husband biked the 2 miles to Sea Island for RSM Classic. The privacy fenced backyard was a secure spot for our expensive bikes. Three beautiful bedrooms, each with their own full bath. Two dens with sofas and nice TV’s. My husband watched golf upstairs while I watched The Crown downstairs. Large gorgeous kitchen but who’s cooking with Crabdaddys one block away and boxes of cinnamon rolls from Dulce Dough on the counter? Beautiful sliding glass doors open to large wooden decks on floors 2 and 3. We’ve already booked our next trip!
