You'll find it easier to book tee times at the golf courses, get reservations at popular restaurants, and explore the historic sites without feeling rushed. The daylight hours are still long enough to enjoy outdoor activities. For those planning to primarily experience the historic town and its university, May, June, September, and October are ideal. The courses are typically in excellent condition, and while there can be a breeze, the conditions are often superb for a round.
